	
Jamal Ansah (pronounced An-suh), known as J.Black was born May 24th, 1988 in Worcester Massachusetts the third child to parents who immigrated from Ghana when they were young adults. At a very young age, Jamal had a fascination with stories and even told his mother that he knew he wanted to become an author when he grew up. As time would go on however those dreams would evolve into something much greater. 

As he was growing up Jamal listened to all types of artists, however, the most influential were Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z and his brother, Larry Cheeba formerly known as L da Headtoucha. When J was in seventh grade, he joined a rap group that was forming in his school called the Muttwyilers AKA the Mutts. This group consisted of many rappers such as: Mixtape Murderer, Killa Frost, Point Blank, Gosple Phlo, Qwik, Tech-G, and last but not least Pro Black; his previous alias. As years went on and high school ended, members of the group came and went and Jamal began losing touch with his rapping abilities. However, in senior year of high school, him and two former Mutts resumed communication and started rapping once again. At that point he started to appreciate and believe in his talent. 

J soon began recording music in high school. When he was taking MIDI lab classes, he would stay after school and learn about constructing beats and after some time, his teacher found out that he rapped. In an effort to help Jamal, the teacher took it upon himself to bring in equipment for him to record himself (J actually ended up purchasing this very same equipment from his teacher to be able to record at home soon after). He gradually went from recording himself on the computer to friends' home studios and eventually moved up to recording at professional studios. 

Throughout his years making music Jamal has been in a few different rap groups but for the most part was a member of Grindhouse where he performed with the Big 3 (Nine Millz/J.Black/Tech G)
In mid 2011 he participated as a contestant in the Topmics CT Tour and won becoming one of the featured artists in the tour. In the summer of 2012, Jamal won the worldwide "50k Contest" presented by Shadowville.com with his song "Dreams", produced by Bitbug, Germany based beatmaker 2Deep, of Anno Domini Beats ( hear "Dreams" now: http://bit.ly/UqOEAS ). Soon after he also placed 3rd in the "In the Cypher" contest presented by Anno Domini. 2Deep liked his entries so much that the two soon after began working together on a collaboration project which dropped in May of 2013 entitled Meant 4 More( DL LINK - http://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/rpwa98 )

Born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts, Nu Element entered the local hip 
hop scene at the age of 15.  For the majority of his teenage years, he spent his 
time in his room studying everything from Hip Hop itself to legendary producers 
such as DJ Premier, 9th Wonder, and J Dilla.  Making beats and perfecting his 
craft, Nu Element built a foundation and started to become the city's 
go-to-producer. Through the same passion for Hip Hop, Nu Element created a 
dynamic duo with co-producer/rapper SleepQuil, where he grew into his name and 
began to define it. Being of a Hip Hop soul  and student, Nu took to writing to 
bring a vision to his beats. From local shows, a expanding network and growing 
fan-base encouraged Nu to begin on his debut mixtape. The upcoming mixtape 
titled "Deja Nu" , which is set to drop for an early 2014 release, has everyone 
awaiting the unveiling of the growth and development of Massachusetts' young 
prodigy.
