Les cinq musiciens ont digéré les styles, les mélangent, les éclatent et les refondent en une esthétique Modern Soul et Hiphop très actuel. Les questions sociales et éthiques sont les thématiques abordées dans les textes chantés en anglais et interprétés par un chanteur passionné. Les arrangements s'y épanouissent à travers les mélodies de trombone les grooves de batterie et pimenté par l'ajout de samples.

A blend of musical genres and influences, Groove Hill are inspired by 20th Century African-American culture. Soul, funk, hip hop and rhythm and blues are at the heart of this group’s sound. Throughout the band’s original tracks, the rhythmic drum and base sound fuse with the melodic trombone, guitar licks and selected samples. Brought to life by a dynamic singer, their catchy tunes - whether sung or rapped - are committed and honest.

Green to the process of songwriting and production, this playful hobby of mine was inspired through the series RHYTHM + FLOW, which elicited the true essence of music: ANYBODY CAN BE AN ARTIST

Wanting to branch out of mere music consumerism, I decided to try my hand at the production of original music. This allows me to fuse my love of poetry while capturing colorful life experiences (and memes).
