Guiding Principles, v. 1 (16.11.12)


1. Wherefore, the Association is to supersede any individual and is not to fracture from infighting borne of interpretational conflicts or Maoist political philosophy as has led to the dismemberment of improvisational predecessors.

2. Association members to be Louisville residents, paying no membership dues and directing any proceeds borne of the Association towards Association endeavors and expenses.

3. Association performances to include a plural number of members, to be comprised only of members, and to explore pure synthesis only. Other sonic exploration to have no place in the Association.
4. Association performances to be documented. Selected performances to be archived and made available.
5. These guiding principles are subject to amendment and shall be interpreted as living principles, adaptable to the evolving needs of the Association.

Dauw is a Ghent based tape label. The aim of the label is to combine the graphic work of Femke Strijbol and some music we like. We want to create an unique hand-made piece of art that flatters both the ear and the eye.
