Thomas Guiducci & the B-Folk Guys is a blues-folk band from Turin (IT). The band has a rich repertoire of re-arranged cover songs and original songs influenced by the great American folk-blues tradition and by some Irish atmospheres. The musical language is a mix of blues, country, folk and jazz. The live show is enhanced by the use of typical folk-music instruments such as banjo, dobro, mandolin, trumpet, harp, bass, accordion and brushes, the acoustic sound is very original and captivating.

J.Sintoni was born March 20,1974 in Cesena (Italy).
 
Guitarist and singer with a solid blues background, 
he's been leading his own bands since mid 90s' and been a regular on the clubs and festivals circuit, playing the likes of Pistoia Blues Festival, Black&Blue Festival, Rootsway Blues Festival, Blues River Festival and many others, as well as opening for musicians of the stature of John Hammond and Doug Mac Leod. 
 
Sintoni has previously produced and recorded the two self penned albums "The red suit" (2007),featured in the ranking of the Top50 Blues Albums USA the same year, and "A better man" (2012).

He's also featured on the album by Grayson Capps "Love songs,mermaids and grappa" (2015) released on Appaloosa Records.
 
Relief(2017), released on Good Luck Factory and distributed by IRD, is the album on which he approached the Americana genre with mostly acoustic and intimate songs . 
Produced by Sintoni,who also recorded the fourteen original songs at his home studio, the album features the Grammy-winning producer and sound engineer Trina Shoemaker behind the mixing console; with its mix of blues,country and folk songs it represents a turning point in Sintoni’s musical career after more than two decades as leader of his power trio.

The long time friendship and musical collaboration with Grayson Capps,the singer songwriter from Alabama,has led J.Sintoni to follow a more intimate research and write new acoustic material.
Technical expertise and care for the songwriting are walking side by side on Relief and the traditional styles are revisited with taste and freshness.

Since 2018 J.Sintoni also tours and plays guitar for the folk rock singer song-writer from Sweden Buford Pope.

Chitarrista e cantante dalla solida formazione blues è attivo dalla metà degli anni '90 ed ha suonato su innumerevoli palchi in Italia e all’estero, tra cui Stati Uniti, Svezia e Francia.
Ha scritto e prodotto gli album "The red suit", annoverato tra i Top 50 Blues Albums 2007 negli USA, "A better man" e "Relief" che segna la svolta acustica del musicista.

L'11 Giugno 2021 è uscito per l’etichetta Go Country Records il nuovo album "Backroads" che vede la partecipazione di numerosi special guests che si alternano nei dieci brani di stampo country e folk.
Collabora come chitarrista da oltre dieci anni col cantautore americano Grayson Capps col quale ha all’attivo sette tour e l'album Love songs, mermaids and grappa e con il folk singer svedese Buford Pope.
Una carriera iniziata venticinque anni fa e dedicata interamente alla musica americana e oggi consolidatasi in uno stile fingerpicking che fonde blues, country, ragtime e folk music.
