I picked 'Wavestation' for the sound cloud name as it is the first synth I owned.
The Wavestation really was ahead of it's time - capable of great stuff if you take the time to program it and carefully manage the limited oscillators count (and avoid layering too many patches together in a 'performance'.. it was easy enough to make a sound that would use all 32 oscillators on just one or two keys down - big problem for muti-tracking with only MIDI available to me at the time. Only thing missing was resonant filters, and a more logical/less frustrating patch memory allocation system (which for some reason was carried over into the VST instrument).
