It is always such a privilege to play at Esoteric, especially on the chill stage just before the sun is about to set.
These kinds of sets always take me a few months to put together and I think the work pays off because it is something that I will come back and listen to myself over the years.
I highly recommend having a nice glass of wine and sitting alone listening to this one.

Live recording of my opening set on Monday the 11th of March 2024, at Esoteric Festival on the Lost Lagoon stage. There were some interesting circumstances involving the stage/lagoon, if you were there you know. Anyways it was the last day of the festival and I was first up, so I thought some nice and easy liquid D&B would help the punters get ready for the final day of fun! Enjoy!

Esoteric Festival is a truly magical event. I love making the annual pilgrimage knowing that I will have the chance to reconnect with friends, make new connections, and bask in the incredibly crafted festival space with an inspiring soundtrack. 

This is the live recording of my set at Chill Island on a sunny Sunday afternoon and takes a slightly different path than my previous chill sets. 

In addition to a whole stack of downtempo electronica, this year I’ve listened to a bunch of garage, drum & bass, and a huge amount of new artists releasing rave influenced tunes across genres. These diverse sounds have inspired and found their way into my chill set this year and I’m stoked with the result.

This set moves through downtempo and broken beats with some garage and rave influences, offset by some dreamy ambient and spoken word. Enjoy the journey through sounds both old and new…

My support set from the Stanton Warriors & A.Skillz gig at Railway Hotel on Dec 28th.

I was on in the side-room along with some of Melbourne's original prog-breaks inceptors such as Luke Chable, Dan Mangan, Keltec, Phil K and Sean Quinn. I tried to capture an oldschool vibe without playing any of the classics as I knew the guys would have that well and truly covered. Hopefully it shows!
