Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Fernando Xavier Aponte  also known by his stage name DJ Miles Jordan is a multi-talented musician whose eclectic background spans from playing varsity baseball to being a seasoned saxophone player. Music has always been at the core of his life. Introduced to jazz by his father at a young age, Miles cultivated a deep love for all genres of music, from jazz to hip hop to electronic dance music. His early years in the high school band, jazz band, and as a varsity athlete shaped his determination and work ethic, which continue to influence his approach to music today.

In his 20s, Miles moved to Hawaii with his brother Kyle, an experience that solidified his resolve to follow his musical dreams. His transformative moment came when his best friends took him to his first music festival—EDC Orlando. The sheer power and energy of the event sparked something deep inside him. Standing next to the sound engineering booth, he had an epiphany that would change his life forever: he wanted to be the one behind the decks.

That very week, Miles  enrolled in sound engineering and music production school. Graduating in 2016, he secured a position at the legendary Circle House Studios in Miami, where he honed his skills alongside some of the biggest names in hip-hop and reggae. It was during this time that he further explored his passion for mixing and production. But it wasn’t until the COVID-19 pandemic that he took the leap to fully pursue his DJ career.

Armed with the technical knowledge of sound and production, Miles invested in his own decks and began teaching himself to DJ. Fast forward to 2025, and he's now a sought-after DJ, lighting up stages across Miami and beyond, with performances in New York City, Los Angeles, and Key West. 

As he continues to grow, Miles is focused on releasing his own music, blending his diverse influences into a sound that connects with fans on a global scale. With a unique journey fueled by passion, perseverance, and a deep love for music, DJ Miles  Jordan is on track to leave a lasting imprint on the electronic music scene.
