Drawing inspiration since early childhood from the likes of D’Angelo, Lauryn Hill, and Shaggy - JSP has found a delicate balance between a lush and energetic cadence paired with an honest intimacy as he designs his records to provoke the imagination with alluring emotion. His narration often details life’s intricacies and unapologetically lays out his own raw truth. 

JSP’s intention is to create nostalgic environments while blending defiant cadences, blurring lines between traditional soul and new age R&B. 

Through a distinct vulnerability, he allows risk to take its own shape.
