Atlanta-based DJ; JSPORT, spent the start of the global pandemic meticulously learning the craft of production. After countless sketches, they have created five otherworldly drum poems for their debut EP, “Out of Bounds.” 

Whether it’s a bass, a snare or a clang, percussion is front and center at almost every moment, but always paired with a careful attention to melodic detail. 

The release opens up elegantly with Zenon, as sparse, detailed patterns are sprinkled on top of an infectious house groove. Next is the sinister yet sexy Gully Bop, where a soca-infused pulse meets darker UK style bass. Capoeira Drum is an intricate network of shuffling rhythms, with each hit moving together as if they were intermeshing gears. Panting breaths and baile funk style horns weave in and out on Hyper Drive, through a maze of stuttering high hats and ghost vocals. Guillotine Drum closes things out menacingly, with aggressive slams riding a wave of humming low end and wails from the abyss. 

Cadences from the Caribbean, South America, and the rest of the African Diaspora are carefully pieced together here with JSPORT’s own interstellar vision of club music. There may be intense layers upon layers of percussion on this release, but these aren’t just DJ tools like most drum tracks tend to function as. They’re rich and full, beautifully detailed, and serve as vessels for an exciting new universe of sound, which adds JSPORT to the ranks of producers pointing to the future of global dance music.

We couldn’t be more excited than to have a release from bass music legend Herve. This EP radiates energy from the glory days of “fidget house” but with totally modern production. The title track “Real” features fist pumping vocals from Contessa Stuto, sliding from a crazy hoover breakdown into the most rolling bass line. “That’s the Way I Feel” brings a twisted but happy vibe, jackin' groove and bouncy bass line.

Getting the ball rolling is Seattle's hidden jewel Fleksor, who unleashes the dazzling "Ikke Trøtt" with its rugged pauses & clever fills. Up next to serve is Dallas' Owl B, who summons a ghoulish club heater that will surely be echoing off warehouse walls for years to come. I've heard of weed butter, but "Acid Butter"?! LA's own Steadyrock doses us with his booty drug anthem, and we still haven't come down. Riga's E91 pulls things way back with his simple but muscly "Whistler Club Tool", which has been a staple in Astronomar sets for the past 7 months. Speaking of MC label head Astronomar, next up we see a tripped out yet relentless track called "Spring Peeper" which is a collaboration with MC main stay Tony Quattro. Rumor has it the boys were stoned one night and wanted to dedicate a song to the Spring Peeper frog. Gordon Bombay steps out to deliver the stern & pumpin' house missile "Tick" thats equal parts moody & grooving. Dreum is up next with is rowdy take on Dutch House, but with a searing twist. Bringing it home is Chi-town's Oxblood, who brings forth a hypnotic pumper that will have you in an audio enduced food coma with the quickness.

"Throw Yo Hood Up" is a salute to the many hoods around LA. With a rough yet organized styling, the chants & catchy melody will make you proud to live in the City of Angels. Next up is "Proteins", an almost jazzy exercise in maximal minimalism. Doin' the most with the least. Midway through the EP we approach"Exit D", some Control Dick Break silliness with a dizzy melody designed to burrow a worm hole into your brain. And rounding out the package is "Slangin This Dick"; this one is pretty self explanatory. The beats are raw so be sure to play safe!

El mito busca ser entendido mediante el lenguaje de lo emotivo y lo sensible. Al alimentarse de lo fantástico, adquiere una fuerza expresiva  poderosa.  
Cada track del EP realiza un recorrido que va desde los seres  de los relatos  históricos (como las sirenas en la mitología griega) a los seres más autóctonos, (como el Pombero de la mitología guaraní, así como también los de leyendas que nacieron en las últimas décadas, por ejemplo  el chupacabras).

Mitologik y _pagana toma como concepto lo que significan los mitos y las leyendas en el imaginario colectivo, planteando un desafío a los límites de la lógica y del razonamiento, parámetros a los que está sometido el sujeto moderno.

It’s only our 2nd release to date, but we’re already bringing you a release by a ‘mystery producer’.
 Based out of Dallas, Texas, with little online presence, Club Cab has remained somewhat of an enigma. His civilian work prevents him from sharing his music publicly, and not least due to the fact that his tracks are provocative old school electro inspired madness.
 But his secret persona should not fool anyone. His music sounds like it has been lifted from an old Databass Records or Dance Mania pressing. With pure raw energy aimed right at the dance floor, these 4 cuts are guaranteed to get those booties poppin'.
 We’re pumped to have him on board as our second release artist, and if you know what's up, you'll be sure to keep an eye on him, too.
