Michelle Bloom spent her formative years traveling across the prairies, over the mountains, and down the canyons that fill her songs today.

The work of such authors as Madeleine L'Engle, Rudolfo Anaya, and E.B. White taught her to live in the mystery and find metaphors for the immensity she felt inside her.

She found her first guitar abandoned in a dusty corner of a New Mexico summer camp near an ancient Native American burial ground where she learned to write music inspired by the thriving 70s folk rock scene.

Today, she loves to create songs that inspire children and families to open their eyes and hearts to the beauty of being alive in a world of distant horizons, wheeling stars, and warm campfires.
