Jeff Bond is an indie-pop artist from Portland, Oregon. Striking out on his own after years of involvement in PacNW groups like Aan, New Move and most recently Glistener, Bond has realigned his focus inward to a wealth of musical riptides that showcase a dynamic songwriter with a hunger for a hook. 
In 2019, Bond dropped three singles—“We Are Getting Closer,” “Summer Shade” and “Friends”—while continuing a busy career as a go-to producer for a bevy of Portland artists. Bond’s producing/mixing/engineering résumé reads as stylistically diverse as his own music, counting Y La Bamba, The Dandy Warhols, And And And, Chanti Darling and Robin Bacior amongst the artists he’s helped hone sound for. As if that weren’t enough, he also composes original music for commercial scores and soundtracks.
Bond's previous singles parlayed summertime vibes steeped in songwriting subtleties that matched hook-heavy melodies with ambient layers of feel-good lyricism and multi-instrumental prowess.
His latest single, “Holiday,” flutters in a shoegaze-y milieu that’s big on pop sensibilities and shimmery sonic accoutrement. The breadth of Bond’s songwriting acumen is expanded, revealing a vulnerability thinly veiled within the aural cocoon of a new wave ballad, the refrain of “Just keep on driving” echoing into the ether of a closed-up world. 
With plans for the release of a steady stream of singles, Bond is poised for a fruitful future, whether he’s behind the boards, in front of them, or both.
