Through every dark night there’s a brighter day and in every cloud there is a silver lining. My dark night lasted 4 long years. Fighting cancer being only 16 and newly diagnosed, it seemed while my friends were at school, partying and living life, I was in and out of the hospital regularly trapped. Now I’m 21 years old I have found my silver lining. Music not only helped me get through the dark times, but it has kept me going every day. Chemo therapy has taken me through both, physical and mental wars which resulted in gifting me very powerful and emotional lyricism.
