Garden of Ethen Vol. 5 | Starlight

Fourth Edition of "Listen If You Like X". In this mix I did something a little different. Because Seven Lions is such a legend and is such a huge impact on the melodic bass and melodic dubstep genre, I felt like putting songs by related artists really shows how much the genre has grown. A majority of the songs are still from seven lions though, so enjoy. 

Also, my apologies for slacking on uploads, I've been really busy with school and preparing for live shows. Since I don't have any shows coming up, expect more frequent uploads. :)

Well, I dug deep to capture the 3 emotions you experienced in the following days, weeks, months, or years:

ANGER — because they showed you that you weren’t good enough for them to stay.
SADNESS — because you started to BELIEVE that you weren’t good enough for them to stay.
HOPE — because despite how decisively things ended (closure or not), you still felt that they hadn’t.

It doesn’t matter if it was a 6 year relationship, 1 year relationship, or short fling — heartbreak is real and cannot be trivialized by a measure of time. Your emotions are valid. The fact that you became so invested shows that you’re a caring person who deserves more.
