Weekly producer challenges to get & keep the creative juices flowing! Open for all producers looking for a fun friendly environment to hone their craft. 

This group is directly influenced by the great work of Team Supreme and their weekly beat ciphers.  
Another inception of a great idea to help us all improve and expand our knowledge and skill set as electronic music producers. 

Each week a new challenge will be set, with given parameters that must be followed.

Before we go any further lets discuss a few housekeeping rules for the group. 

First of all this is not a place to spam your music. Only posts related to the current brief are permitted. This is to try and maintain some order and keep the group focused. 

This is an area for constructive criticism, feedback & a place to discuss techniques as well as share knowledge. If you are not willing to do/give at least one of these then there is no point in joining this group. Our core aim is to help each other improve and form a community in which we can enjoy each others music. 

The weeks submissions will then be collated into a weekly mix tape posted on our soundcloud page for all to discuss and enjoy.

Beat Rules

Each beat must:

1) Be no less than 60 seconds long.

2) Must be at the given tempo for the brief.

3) Must contain at least one of the given sample(s) but can be processed however you see fit. 

4) Uploaded to soundcloud as a private track available to download with the private link then sent to: 
totemismuk@gmail.com
or alternatively email a dropbox link to the same address or any other transfer medium. The key thing is, it must be hi-res and downloadable. 
Please include "The Weekly Beat" and brief number in the subject heading. Also include artist information and any other info you think is relevant to the current brief. 

5) Follow any other  unique parameters of the individual brief. 

6) Must be submitted within the deadline.
