When Fivos Valachis gives the opportunity to collaborate with him, I always jump at the chance. This will be my third project with him & the response has always been overwhelming! There's a lot of love out there across the world for Fivos & working with him, allows a little bit to rub off off on me :) Since Fivos handled all the piano parts so admirably, I picked up my acoustic guitar & played along with his melody as a sort of dialogue between the two instruments. Then I rounded it off with some orchestral arrangements to heighten the emotions. Lot's of fun once again & I hope you enjoy it too.

Matthias and I posted individual versions of Fivos' track about the same time. Matthias reached out to me wondering what it might sound like to combine all of the versions and this track is the result. I am thrilled with how it turned out and hope you enjoy it as well. Thanks to both Fivos and Matthias for being so open to sharing their amazing work with other artists - I feel truly blessed to be a part of this track :-)

Fivos Valachis - Upside Down (with Faerytale & Telefan)

What make that collaboration upside down, is that I created a song over Fivos ‘ song.  I used 95 % of Fivos original track. Since he was using open harmony, I reharmonized his song using impressionist harmony (à la Debussy) which give many different color to his song ! 

If I you add a style of music that he would never thought his song could be played in (don't worry it is not rock and roll) :)  ) and many other surprises ;-) As I told him, ‘’ you might not recognize your song! ‘’ OK I might have exaggerated a bit but still ... :).
What is interesting about my arrangement it cannot exist by itself  because it has no meaning and reason to exist without Fivos song! 
So I hope you like it as much I loved to work with Fivos marvelous song!

When I first heard the sound of the Una Corda instrument I was taken in by it's beauty and the wonderful, light atmosphere it creates. I am so pleased to be able to have a chance to work with Milana's wonderful Una Corda performance as the basis of my contribution to this project. I hope you enjoy it :-)
