Nathan Cooper pka Nate Coop and Charity Lewis pka Charity Evaughn had a chance meeting at a beat battle in Houston. They struck up a great friendship that developed into collaboration. After individually winning iStandard competitions both locally and at special events around the US, they took the chance of entering Beast of the Beats with the many pieces of music they had curated together over the course of the year. Their complimentary styles combined for a higher level of music neither knew was possible and they took home the crown in Atlanta, the ninth champions of iStandard's Beast of the Beats year end finale. Wowing the likes of Major Seven, M16, Rahk, S1, and legends Hi-Tek and Bink, they displayed a humble presence and a versatile range of music, with amazing sound selection, drum programming, melody, sonic quality and fun. Sponsored by Monster and poised for their first major placement with a major recording artist, the sky is the limit for them as they continue to grow individually and as a duo.
