I want the truth but I want it edited,
Prefer my guilt inspirational, not credited.

Every brand got a conscience in June,

While the rent keep climbing like it missed the address.
I learned activism from a comment section,
Lost the plot somewhere near self-correction.
I fact-check feelings, feelings check me,
Every hot take colder than it let be.
I grew up thinking “normal” was neutral and clean,
Turns out “normal” just meant I wasn’t seen.
I don’t fear cops the same way my friends do,
So I shut up—but silence got weight too.
I’m stuck between “speak up” and “don’t center yourself,”
Like morality’s a shelf I keep rearranging for help.
