Forgiveness

I wanted to make something relatable and translate the feeling of anxiety into music. The beginning theme starts off slow and gradually acculturates, mirroring the physical symptoms of anxiety, such as increased breathing and heart rate. As we go into the first drop, there are these weird voice-like chops that are introduced, accompanied by an eerie melody in the background. This represents the clutter and loudness of how the thoughts can get inside our heads (or they can be actual voices in your head, that’s cool too lol) 
Lastly, the second drop is prefaced with a scream, followed by a wall of percussion. The percussive drop then builds into an explosion of chords, which is the final emotional release of the whole song, and what it sounds like when I get to treat myself to a little mental breakdown LOL. 

I also sprinkled some alarm sounds in several parts of the song because that iPhone alarm is peak anxiety. 

I scheduled this song to be released last October around the same time as the @porterrobinson show. I was so anxious about my set that I forgot to reschedule to a later date, so it was accidentally released on Spotify and other streaming services without me knowing oop.
