Unsere Nr. 232 kommt heute von einem Ausnahmetalent aus Berlin, das ich nun schon fast drei Jahre verfolge. Außerdem was viel wichtiger ist … sind wir supergute Freunde geworden … was ja nicht so oft passiert. Musik verbindet 😽

Milena’s aka „Katzenohr“ Sound zu beschreiben fällt nicht ganz so einfach. Sie bedient sich hier den verschiedensten Stilrichtungen vom gepitches Bass-House, deepem dirty Downbeat, verrücktem Pop und HipHop und das ganz gewürzt mit einer Brise Metal … würde ich sagen, wenn ich es versuchen würde zu beschreiben. Aber was ich viel entscheidender finde ist Milenas Präsenz und Authentizität hinter DJ-Pult … eben wie im richtigen Leben. Punkig, feministisch, ehrlich, spontan, frech und frisch.

Ich kann mich noch gut an unser erstes Treffen an einem sonnigen Morgen auf dem Bucht der Träumer erinnern. Aus einem Drink wurden drei oder vier und die Bandbreite der Gesprächsthemen war extrem breit. Liebe Milena schön das uns die Musik zusammen gebracht hat und ich hoffe mal auf den Festival-Sommer 2022 – das wir wieder so einen tollen Morgen erleben dürfen.

So und nun anschnallen und ab geht die wilde Fahrt im „Cyber Funk Level Glitch“-Rollercoaster.

Was macht meiner Meinung nach eine gute Afterhour aus?

Ich bin ein typischer Over-Thinker, daher muss ich erstmal unterscheiden zwischen Club- und Wohnzimmer-Afterhour. Die Club-Afterhour ist ja eigentlich bestenfalls die Fortsetzung einer wilden Nacht in einer anderen Location. Mein Favorit!! ❤️  Das Tollste daran finde ich den Ortswechsel und das Treffen neuer Leute, die alle entweder schon seit zwei Tagen durch denselben Club wandern oder auch gerade erst von woanders kommen - die einen aus dem Kater, die anderen aus dem Berghain, die unterschiedlichste Outfits und ihre Stories der vergangenen Nacht mitbringen… eine endlos bunte und aufregende Mischung! Für mich war das immer ein einzigartiger Schmelztiegel und ich habe wahrscheinlich in diesen Stunden die verrücktesten und befreiensten Momente meines Lebens gehabt ✨🌈

Demgegenüber empfinde ich die Afterhour zuhause mehr als Afterglow. Leider bin ich um die Uhrzeit oft schon heiser und wenn ich doch was sage, kommt manchmal crazy Zeug bei raus, darum: Lieber weitertanzen! 

Was auf jeden Fall für beide Voraussetzung ist: Vertrauen, Leute zum Liebhaben und Verlust des Zeitgefühls. Außerdem empfehle ich ein kleines Notizheft um besondere Erlebnisse festzuhalten. Glaubt mir, es lohnt sich 😁

thank you sooo much for the opportunity to play at your event! thank you for your trust, your support and your kind words. i have no words left to describe how i felt while opening my beloved hopper floor :') big thank you to all the lovely dancers and to my friends who came all the way from passau to celebrate with me. dancing in the confetti rain and meeting all those strangers and artists who inspire me was just GREAT.  

this is kind of a wild and chaotic opening set and you will find a few imperfections in it because i was so nervous that my hands were tooo shaky to beatmatch properly :D but i can tell you, i had the time of my life <3

So let me tell you a story about this very spontaneous Fusion Set:
This year I was working at Sonnendeck and had some really funny, interesting and also stressful stageshifts with my beloved team from 3000Grad and Telekollegen. I loved it! Also because its important to me to take part in this very special festival-construct that Fusion is for me. I was a little sad, that I did not get booked (Everything else would have been a lie), because I wanted to play my new tracks so bad, especially "PoP"
Then it was Sunday morning and I got a textmessage by my friend Obi:

„Acid Pauli is playing your track right now“
Whaaaaaat?!?

Remember how I said I want this track „PoP“ to be played at fusion so bad? @acidpauli played it Sunday morning at one of the most huge stages: Palapa 😳  For real?!
Seriously this means the world to me! Especially this track #pissonpatriarchy 
it’s a hurtful fight to gain back self efficiency poured in a track ➡️ @mora_leipzig 
And the pain is turned into a huge crowd dancing!

I came to Fusion as a teenager, because I grew up in the area. I have been raving there every year since, when it took place and sometimes I even had the honour to play there myself in the last years. If someone would have told me, that my music will be played there one day by acts that I adore since decades on the hugest soundsystem, I would not have believed that. I am still crying over this.

Thank you Obi for this message! It was one of the few that came through. 
I planned to attend Acid Paulis gig, but I got caught in a good conversation with friends at the other side of the Acker. I was on my way to palapa and near dubstation when I got the message. And then I ran! While I ran, I did the math, if I can make it to palapa and still hear the rest of the track. What do you think? Did I make it?

Funfact: when @jpattersson started after Acid Pauli I got asked by @alma_linda and the Palapa Bar, if I wanted to play spontaneously there right after. Again: whaaaaaat?! I said yes, with a few Sonnendeck-stageshifts in my bones and greasy hair, not having showered since days, I ran to my tent to get my headphones and Dj-stuff (well I had it with me, you never know 😅), put on some dryshampoo, painted myself a face haha and played. And here we are: have fun with the recording of this very f*cking spontaneous Fusion Set :D
I played "PoP" myself (yeahyeahyeah!) and I also played the Remix of my track "Weiter" by @andys-echo and a track by my friends @propellar_music , because they were dancing right in front of me these sweetiebois. Later the four of us closed the firespace with "Herz an Herz" by Blümchen.... but that's another story to tell.... #ithappened

What can I say? 
Playing at the most beautiful stage of this years Fusion Festival, between two of my favorite acts, with 38°C, desert dust and lots of Cremant... I am super grateful for that experience! 
Thanks to all my friends that joined and supported me, to the lovely Seebühne Crew and thanks to everyone that danced in the desert heat and dust with me <3 What a journey!

Imagine a temple, hidden between the trees and lianas of a mystic but inviting forest... It's far beyond midnight, fog is playing around with lights in the darkness. People are slowly dancing with closed eyes and smiles on their faces. You can smell the scent of dust, pine resin and burning Palosanto woods... 
That's how I found the Archipel floor at Bucht der Träumer, the bay of dreamers. It was the best place and time I could wish for. Thank you for dancing and dreaming with me <3

Das ein Mix von Nɨxe bei mir etwas mit Wasser zu tun hat, is ja eigentlich klar. Den Termin für den Podcast haben wir schon vor gut einem halben/dreiviertel Jahr ausgemacht … da ich Nɨxe unbedingt in meiner Reihe wissen wollte. Nun war sie wie so viele andere gute Freunde auf dem kleinen feinen Sa Terza Metari Festival in Sardinien und hat dort ein überragendes Set für ein noch überragenderes Floor-Publikum gespielt … aber halt leider nicht den beliebten Record-Knopf gedrückt. Aber da ja der Podcast für Elektro Uwe in den Startlöchern stand … wurde der Moment nochmals nachgefühlt und mit etwas Abstand rekonstruiert. Ich sag nur so viel „MENO wieso war ich nicht dabei“ 🌊 🌊 🌊

Nɨxe … tausend Dank für die schöne Idee mit dem Sa Terza Metari Set … passt zu 100% genauso in meine Reihe. Und nun liebe Hörer spürt noch ein bisschen dem Sommer hinterher mit den Tönen von Nɨxe.

Afterhour Montag morgens, Closing eines der letzten Floors der Bucht der Träumer*innen '19. Eine bunte aufgeregte Menschenmasse nach drei Tagen phantastischer Musik tanzt im Sonnenaufgang. Der vernebelte Floor scheint von selbst immer größer zu werden - tja, ein Glück hat das Oberstübchen keine Wände! Eine Frau klettert auf das Pult vor mir und feuert die Crowd an. Meine Herzensmenschlein der letzten Jahre, Tage und Stunden,  die lieben Leute, die das Festival möglich gemacht haben und die irre Idee hatten, dass ich mit euch gemeinsam das letzte Bisschen aus dem Wochenende rausholen würde- alle tummeln sich freudig neben mir zwischen den Bässen.

Es war mein Highlight der Festivalsaison, vielleicht des ganzen Jahres und darüber hinaus. Ich wollte das Set in Wahrheit nie online stellen, weil ich fand, an dieses magische Erlebnis würde sowieso keine Aufnahme rankommen. Aber hier ist es: Ein 3/4 Jahr über die Festplatte gesegelt und immer noch genauso dreckig 🎶⛵️😎
Alles Liebe an die, die dabei waren, und diejenigen, die jetzt nachkommen :* Und Danke an die @rebelliondertraumer, @rummelsbucht und die anderen Mitveranstaltenden. Bis bald <3

(PS: Da dieses Jahr alle Festivals bis Ende August abgesagt worden sind, helft bitte auch ihr mit, dass die Bucht der Träumer* die Quarantäne überlebt und im nächsten Jahr wieder stattfinden kann. Erster Schritt: Behaltet eure Tickets und eure Floorfreude!)
