Argentinian DJ and producer Juan Barrera has been making waves in the progressive house scene since his early beginnings in Córdoba. His journey as a DJ began in 2016, and since then, Juan has been captivating audiences with his dynamic sets that skilfully blend progressive, melodic, and deep house tones. Drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as Hernán Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha, and Nick Warren, the sound of Juan is defined by its grooved, melodic textures, seamlessly adapting to the energy of any venue.

In 2018, Juan took his passion for electronic music to the next level by diving into production. By February 2022, he marked his official debut with the release of his first EP on "We Are The Underground." The project featured the standout track "Greta," a collaborative effort with acclaimed DJ and producer Cesar Lombardi. The momentum continued in 2024 with the release of his "Griffin Door" EP, a collaboration with B.I.G (AR) on the esteemed label AH Digital. This release featured remixes by Leandro Murua and Andres Moris, with the latter receiving support from progressive house icon Guy J.

Throughout 2024, Juan trajectory soared as he expanded his catalog to include collaborations with B.I.G (AR) on respected labels Mango Alley and Univack. His presence on labels like AH Digital, Digital Emotions, Moussaieff Records, Balkan Connection South America, Future Avenue, 3erd Avenue, and D9 SA further solidifies his standing in the global progressive house community.

Juan talents have not gone unnoticed on the local circuit either. He has shared the stage with prominent Argentine DJs such as Matías Chilano, Ivan Aliaga, Christopher Erre, Agustin Pietrocola, and Marce del Boca, among others. His performance alongside international DJ Forty Cats, where he had the honour of warming up the booth, is a testament to his growing reputation.

Now based in Córdoba city, Juan continues to perform at clubs across the local scene, all while dedicating himself to creating fresh, innovative productions that push the boundaries of progressive house.
