His work is heavily driven by the factorisation of sound into our existence, and often implements shards of different cultures and ecosystems to bring an individual character to his already gifted production capability. His latest offering comes as an eye-opening peek into a long-awaited debut LP set for in the tail end of 2022.

Released on Dutch imprint Klassified on 19th August, Mencke’s ‘Su’ is the first glimpse of a telling journey - inspired by a Buddhist’s path to enlightenment. As expected, the track is melodically-charged and presents itself as a depthy sea of emotive instrumental layers. Beyond its well-balanced core of punchy drums and delicate percussive structures, you can find a plethora of tonal components balancing rougher sounds with soothing tones from end to end. A progressive and depthy track with undeniable dancefloor value, ‘Su’ is the perfect introduction ahead of the release of ‘Unalome’ in October.
