An authentic and unique artist, SeeMeNot returns to Defected with her first original Defected release ‘Together’, following remixes from Jamie Jones, Deetron and Roman Flügel for her hypnotic label debut ‘Borderline’ in 2022. Initially spotlighted as one to watch by DJ Mag and Beatportal, the Jamaican-Canadian artist and storyteller’s innate lyricism is apparent with her releases incorporating jazz, soul and hip-hop influences alongside the anonymous artist’s ethereal vocals, creating unforgettable deep house and techno compositions that pay homage to the strength, wisdom and methodology of Black and Brown women who have gone before her. Now SeeMeNot unveils the much anticipated ‘Together Part I’, produced by Berlin underground talent Aaaron, an electronic artist who first made waves on the London label with early DFTD EPs ‘Feelin This’ and ‘What Makes You Itch’. SeeMeNot’s powerful and soulful vocals permeate ‘Together Part I’, as the two producers create an understated record that builds to a blinding climax thanks to a masterful variety of synth design and percussive ingenuity. What follows is ‘Together Part II’, with Kitty Amor delivering her inimitable brand of Afro house excellence that has culminated in the launch of her imprint Mahaba Music, features in Resident Advisor, Mixmag and DJ Mag, and support from genre champions Themba, Kid Fonque and DJEFF. Madloch's Sound Avenue welcomes Secretly Famous back to the label for their third artist EP. Hailing from Australia, the Secretly Famous production duo first emerged in 2021 on the strength of early offerings such as 'Chimera' and 'On Fire'. Noted for their ability to marry traditional and contemporary progressive sounds, the Secretly Famous duo was quickly tipped as a production team to watch going forward. The next three calendar years would see the Aussie duo continue to refine their sound, resulting in an aesthetic that was both groovy and melodic. Secretly Famous would begin their creative partnership with Sound Avenue in 2022, in the form of a well-received debut via label affiliate Future Avenue, a two-track EP which would go on to yield twenty-five additional appearances across the Belgian label collective. Perhaps none more impactful was the duo's Sound Avenue debut, a progressive take on 'One Word' by Estonian duo about : river, a project which landed with a resounding thump just over a year ago. The first part of 2024 was highlighted by two EP's 'Yeon' and 'Outlive', which was a five-track showcase which takes a deeper look into the duo's far-reaching repertoire. Now they're back with the second sampler for their upcoming album which is set for release early next year. The duo presents the next 3 tracks of that album "Sashweeder", "Am I Dreaming" and "Famously Secret".

'Echosphere' is the new three-original-track EP by the artist David Hammond known by his stage name SOLIS [US] @solis , in his first release on Univack. Besides, the EP is completed with a remix by the great artists HERNAN CATTANEO @hernancattaneo & SIMPLY CITY @simply_city_music

David Hammond, known by his stage name Solis [US], is a Madison, Wisconsin-based DJ & producer specializing in Deep Progressive House. His sound often carries an uplifting melodic quality, shaped by his early musical journey as a bassist at age 15, later transitioning into jazz and lead guitar. However, David eventually discovered his true passion in electronic music.

Solis [US] aims to offer listeners a more sophisticated and emotionally nuanced experience, moving beyond the typical hands-in-the-air anthems or dark, minor-key moods common in dance music. He strives for a slightly melancholic yet thoughtful vibe that ultimately leaves listeners feeling uplifted. His goal is to create tracks that are just as enjoyable in personal moments—whether driving or socializing—as they are on the dancefloor.

Tracks like “Echosphere” and “Electricolor” were inspired by his reflective sunset walks along Madison’s Lakeshore Path, while “Asiya” was crafted specifically with the dancefloor in mind, bringing a fun yet musically distinct energy.

The EP is completed by the awesome remix from the most representative DJ in the worldwide Progressive House scene for the last two decades, el maestro Hernan Cattaneo, in collaboration with the also experienced DJ & producer Simply City. This remix is the third release of both artists on Univack, and another evidence of their perfect symbiosis when they make music together.

French DJ and producer Jack Carver is attempting to redefine what it means to be live in the techno scene.

From his setup at RIG.FM, a local radio station, Jack crafts all his music in real time—every beat, synth, and bassline forged in the moment. No pre-recorded sets, just raw, unfiltered techno that captures the energy of the here and now. With a background that mixes gaming, poker, and a love for adventure, Jack Carver’s live performances are an unpredictable ride, fuelled by pure creativity.

"For Galactik, I wanted a kick that was both heavy and light at the same time. I was inspired by the movie Interstellar (one of my favorites!!), where explorers travel through a wormhole to get from point A to point B. So, the sound in this track is what I imagined hearing when they passed through the wormhole. Warning: slight spoiler ^^.

The vocal is the same as in my track "Object," but I recreated an effect and sampled it. The end is completely improvised—I found that slightly delayed, unsynchronized rhythm suited the track's vibe well. It was almost like the music was losing its emotion."

A man, whose name thrills millions of progressive House fans today.
He grew up in a family of musicians, but not everything in his life inclined cheerful singing.

At the age of 18, he was enlisted to National Service, where as a medic,
he had to deal with death everyday. Soldiers brought from Lebanon were dying right in front of his eyes. Continuous suicide attacks and living on a time bomb made Moshic understand, what the most important thing in life is to seize the day. When he finished paying his debts to the country, he decided to devote himself completely to electronic music.
He fell in love with progressive, which wasn't too popular at that time in Israel.
He was handing out his mixes wherever he could, but the scene ignored his too dark style.
Disillusioned, he moved to New York the city where John Digweed and Sasha were spinning records in Twilo, and Moshics progressive darkness finally found a susceptible breeding ground.
Moshic released his first singles under the Argonout guise.
Argonout (Aka Moshic) is Moshics first project and got releases threw Cyber records (NL).
