Hello everybody! Welcome to a new episode of Clubsonica Radio with your host and the dj for the first hour of the show, Juan Pablo Torrez. In the 2nd hour of this one, we have the great italian artist Gai Barone, who recently released a wonderful remix to Ruben Karapetyan’s Neurotransmitter. Returning to the label for the lone interpretation of Neurotransmitter is Gai Barone. With an esteemed career stretching the better part of two decades, Gai Barone has become one of electronic musics most sought after artists. The renowned musician and Italian native has long been one of the industrys most fascinating producers. An unrivalled quest for the creation of something uniquely memorable and deeply moving has fuelled his sonic journey. As a true craftsman, it is this drive for excellence that makes each one of Gais studio creations met with much anticipation. Hello everyone! Welcome to a new episode of Clubsonica radio with your host and your dj for the first hour of the show, Juan Pablo Torrez. I’m excited to bring you this episode with some new choons that are coming out on our beloved label in the next few weeks. In the 2nd hour, we have a beautiful guest mix by the gorgeous Argentinean artist Greta Meier, who’s releasing ‘Modulator’ which is part of our Sampler Vol. 7 coming out on February 21st. 

Hailing from Argentina, Greta has emerged from her country's electronic music landscape, staking her claim as a future great in South America's burgeoning progressive house scene. Noted for her deep grooves and emotive musicality, Greta's craft shines through vividly, as she has carved out a unique path since making her production debut in 2019. A short but meticulous discography showcasing superlative releases via 3rd Avenue, BCSA, Mango Alley and Timeless Moment have been well-received, earning play and support from genre tastemakers. Also an accomplished DJ, the Cordoba resident has been a fixture of Argentina's nightlife, showcasing her keen sense of dancefloor dynamics alongside elite talents in Artbat, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, John Digweed, Hernán Cattaneo and Nora En Pure, amongst others. With 2025 getting underway with ‘Benevolence', a single recorded alongside Sebastian Sellares for UV, Greta now makes her Clubsonica debut with the deep poignant sounds of ‘Modulator'.

Hey hey everyone! Welcome to a new episode of Clubsonica radio with your host and your dj for the first hour of the show, Juan Pablo Torrez. We are having a great show this time with some amazing music that I’ve been digging into lately, as well as some own productions as my remix to Take Me Home which came out on Xtao Xounds in January and right at the end of the first hour you will hear my collab with Deviu called inefable which is coming out this March 21st on UV. In the 2nd hour, we have a great guest mix by the outstanding Hungarian artist Matthew Sona, who released a bomb remix of ‘Siamba’ on March 7th. 

Hailing from Hungary, Matthew Sona has found a way to create his own personal universe by exploring organic sounds and ultimately finding a place in the trend-driven state of underground dance music at a remarkably young age. With Eelke Kleijn and Hernan Cattaneo also being supporters of Matthew's work, the Hungarian continues to carve out his own path into 2025, making his Clubsonica debut with an excellent interpretation of ‘Siamba'. Bringing a contemporary state of mind, Matthew reassembles the themes from the original for his own uniquely energetic approach. Stepping decisively on the gas, it's a narrative of timely effects, haunting motifs and shapeshifting melodies which coax perfectly atop precise kick drums and charged grooves, for what results in a tastefully epic rendition that's perfect for a peak hour dancefloor.

Their melodic yet dancefloor-friendly take on progressive house and trance has found favour with some of the world’s most prominent tastemakers across their decade-long career. Play and support from Above & Beyond, Aly & Fila, John OO Fleming, and Paul Thomas have propelled them into one of the most renowned duos in their genre space. Fuenka now adds Clubsonica to their resume with a gorgeous rework of Ipse.

@Bilboni ist ein künstlerischer Spitzname für den slowenischen Musiker Goran Bilbija. Seine frühen Anfänge auf dem Gebiet waren gekennzeichnet durch den Besuch und den Abschluss einer Musikschule, an der er das Akkordeon spielen lernte. Als Teenager beschleunigte sich seine Leidenschaft für Musik bis zu dem Punkt, an dem er sein gesamtes monatliches Taschengeld für das Ausleihen / Kaufen neuer Platten ausgab. Als Kind begann er, das Clubleben zu schmecken. Von den elektronischen Klängen angezogen, war er immer der letzte, der nach Hause ging und darauf wartete, die neuesten Tracks der DJs auf den Teller zu bekommen. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt ließ er sich vom frühen Techno inspirieren, der von Künstlern wie James Brown, EuroDance, Culture Beat, 2 Unlimited, Captain Jack usw. personalisiert wurde. Als professioneller Sportler (Handball) musste Goran aufgeben eine zeitlang träumt er von seiner musik und doch hat er seine produktion nie ganz eingestellt. Im Alter von 20 Jahren gründete er ein erfolgreiches Musikduo 2 Alive und unterzeichnete etliche Verträge mit verschiedenen Plattenfirmen. Nach Jahren der Musikproduktion beschloss Goran schließlich, seine Zeit voll und ganz der Musik zu widmen und eigene Tracks herauszugeben. Inspiriert von weltberühmten DJs wie Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Luciano, Julian Jeweil und anderen, sieht er sich selbst am meisten in Techno- und Tech-House-Vibes. Mit vollem Engagement für seine Fans ist er immer offen für neue Vorschläge und Kritik. Überzeugt davon, dass Selbsterkenntnis der Schlüssel zu Qualität ist, können Sie mit Sicherheit nicht weniger als eine technische Perfektion hypnotisierender Beats erwarten.

Born in Cali, Colombia, but now living in Medellín, Colombia, Juan Pablo Torrez fell in love of electronic music at a very short age with progressive trance music, but it was not until his 18 years old that he took his love for this music to the decks. Afterwards, highly influenced by artists like Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Sasha and by progressive, trance and techno sounds of that time, Juan Pablo Torrez made his style very versatile which allowed him to surf between genres and that he maintains until today. This has allowed him to perform in countries like Greece, Hungary, Spain, Argentina, USA and more; hold plenty of club residencies as well as performed in major and massive events such as Summerland Festival Main Stage (2013 and 2015 editions, Cartagena, Colombia), DayDreaming Festival 2018 (Budapest, Hungary) and Bloque Festival 2018 (Kavala, Greece).

Over the years, he has shared the spotlight with many of dance music’s greatest artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Jeremy Olander, Danny Howells, Dave Seaman, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Funkagenda, Cid Inc, Darin Epsilon, Anthony Pappa, Dmitry Molosh, and countless others.

To date, Juan Pablo Torrez has released music on Parquet Recordings, Perspectives Digital, Beatfreak Recordings, Particles, Clubsonica Records, FSOE UV, onedotsixtwo, among others.
