Since the beginning of his DJ career, Diego’s skillful mixing technique has allowed his fine taste in music to stand out.

Nowadays, Diego Macias is producing electronic music for many important labels such as STRIPPED DIGITAL (UK), SOUNDS OF JUAND (UK), TRR Label (Mex), InfraDigdRecords (MEX) and WE ARE HERE RECORDS (MEX).
His original track “Camelopardo” was released on We Are Here Records and appears on the BEATPORT CHART “10 MUST HEAR PROGRESSIVE HOUSE TRACKS WEEK 53”. Additionally, both of the tracks of his ep signed with WE ARE HERE RECORDS have jumped in to the TOP TEN SALES of the label on BEATPORT: CAMELOPARDO FIRST PLACE and MASTIFF on the FIFHT PLACE.. As well, his original track EGOCENTRIC, contained on the STRIPPED DIGITAL compilation MEXICO.UNMIXED, was featured on the radio show “THE GALLERY” of the universally known brand MINISTRY OF SOUND. His EP “Hedonism” released under the TRR Label has been a big success. Both original tracks and remixes have been charted by many artists aroudn the globe. Diego Macias productions have received outstanding reviews from very influential and respected artists such as HERNAN CATTANEO, DEREK HOWELL, MARC POLLEN, DARIN EPSILON, 16 BIT LOLITAS, SANDRA COLLINS, SPESH, ANDY NEWLAND, ANDY ARIAS, TINI TUN, ISSAC, NORMAN H, SASHA Le MONIER among many others.

Diego Macias ha destacado en la escena electrónica por brillar con luz propia. Desde el comienzo de su carrera como dj, sobresalió por su delicada técnica de mezcla y su sofisticado gusto en la selección musical, para posteriormente incursionar en el mundo de la producción.

Ha firmado con diferentes labels tanto mexicanos –We Are Here Records, TRR Label, InfraDigrecords- como londinenses – Stripped Digital, Sounds Of Juan.
Su track original “Camelopardo”, firmada en We Are Here Records, apareció en el chart de BEATPORT “10 MUST HEAR PROGRESSIVE HOUSE TRACKS WEEK 53” del 2012, además, los dos tracks de su EP alcanzaron lugares dentro del TOP TEN SALES del label en Beatport: Camelopardo en el primer lugar y Mastiff en el quinto. Juan felt identified with electronic music through the works of artists like John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo and many others, growing up while developing a very particular taste in music. At the age of 18, he began his career as a DJ, making his debut as an opening act for Tini Tun (one of the most important dj´s in Mexico). When he was 19 years old he moved to Barcelona, Spain and began his career as a producer and audio engineer, now a graduate from SAE Institute. 

Juan has shared the decks with international and national DJs such as Hernan Cattaneo, Danny Howells, Timo Maas, Nick Warren, Hosh, Marc Houle, Marco Resmann, DJ T. , Jimmy Van M, Chris Fortier, DJ Three, Marc Marzenit, D-Nox and Beckers, My Favorite Robot, Einmusik, Floyd Lavine, Facundo Mohrr, Zone +, John Debo, Theus Mago, Lank, K.E.E.N.E. ,Cesare vs Disorder, Dark Soul Project,  Miguel Puente, The Midnight Perverts, Tini Tun, Gabriel I, Climbers, Norman H,  Vazik, Neftali Blasko, Cabizbajo, Light IDR, Zeque, Gepri & Mapiu, Gio Rugerio and Sussie 4.

In addition, he's played in different cities from around the globe like, London, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Prague and Andalucía; also, he had different residencies in clubs in Mexico City and surrounding cities such as Leon, San Miguel de Allende and Queretaro.

Juan had been invited to play at the best online radio stations such as Frisky Radio, Proton Radio and Ultra FM. In 2012 he was ask by Frisky Radio to be the “Artist of the Week” and he also was chosen to be part of Frisky Loves Mexico and his show was chosen by Frisky Radio as one of the best shows of 2012.

Currently, he is working with Tini Tun as a founder and label manager of “We Are Here Music”.
