Collective is a drum and bass night in Bristol that runs every 2nd Thursday of the month and organised by Break / Kyo / DLR / Hydro / Mako / MC Gusto / Onset and Total Science.
Here is a very rare insight into what goes down there, this set was recorded at Collective’s 1st birthday celebration back in February 2017.

Well fuck me ,drum and bass just won’t die, and I love it house comes, evolves makes everyone dance then disappears again only to reinvent slightly different for a short period people lose there shit it’s good then it fades into the background again , and I’m a massive fan of house was one of my entry points into electronic music but for longevity and hype for consistent years it’s drum and bass nothing like it every time I hear a new big tune ,it takes me back to the tape pack days of Jack Frost and Randall and even though I love house I’ll never get that feeling from it 👏🏻

Naturally drawn to the darker, techy, and more minimal sounds of drum and bass, Andromeda has charmed ravers at clubs and bars across the UK since 2016. Having co-ran the label Proximity Recordings, she is inspired by a variety of dnb labels including V Recordings, Tech Itch, Dispatch & Playaz – just to name a few.

She’s supported the likes of Kyrist, Total Science, Amoss and Tephra & Arkoze & spun beats for Subtle FM, Bassdrive & Reprezent Audio. Armed with a wicked tune selection and razor-sharp mixing skills, Andromeda's high-energy sets are guaranteed to keep you locked on the dance floor.

Drum and Bass enthusiast with a sprinkle of house when the vibe commands it.

Sounds influenced by Break, Alix Perez, Skeptical, Lenzman, Calibre, Workforce, and similar heavy hitting producers.

I have played at Auckland’s major clubs, and can flow all night from soulful liquid to heavy hitting rollers.
