"One More for the Road” is a tribute to Paul Kent, the lead guitarist featured in the original 1998 recordings. Paul was an incredible musician—vastly more skilled than the rest of us—but he was also a humble man. He never showed off. Instead, he played to our level, adding depth and texture to what we were doing, elevating it without overshadowing it.

These original recordings were made in Padworth, Berkshire, using a simple tape recorder and a couple of microphones. The sound quality isn’t perfect, but the spirit is real. We had some unforgettable times in Padworth, and I think we were all gutted when it came to an end—life took over, as it does.

We’ve also used A.I. assistance to breathe new life into the originals—giving a glimpse of what these songs might have become if we’d had the time and tools back then.

Paul is missed by so many. This is our way of honouring the music, the memories, and the fun we shared.
