Episode 36 meets one of my faves, German DJ and producer, @tinicouldbeworse.

Although she never intended to make it her profession, tINI has always loved music. At home in Munich, she learned to mix early on and quickly fell in love with electronic music, balancing her work and her passion until she was ready to take the leap into pursuing DJing full time. 

Since then, she’s become an artist in her own right, putting out several releases and even starting her own now-infamous event series, @tiniandthegang. Despite over 20 years in the game, her approach to DJing remains deeply passionate. In this episode, we discuss her musical roots, her dedication to her craft, and the discipline required to stay afloat in this industry.

A regular at festivals from Glastonbury to Gottwood and clubs from London to Ibiza, Nick Gynn aka N-GYNN has picked up acclaim more recently for his time in the recording studio, which led him to release on labels like PLEASURE CLUB, One Records, Small Hours, and Hamam House just to name a few. Ranging from retro-dusty house beats to more avant-garde electro sonorities, Nick's sound is the perfect melt of rampant yet evocative sonorities, all together into a swirling explosion of electronic vibes. He also runs Superlux Records together with Mike Gill, and Johnny Hunter, with each member bringing his own unique flavour to the mix, creating a sound that feels wholesome, while pushing the boundaries of breakbeat, house, garage, rave, electro and more.

Zach G is artist born and raised in the concrete jungle of New York City. No strangers to the dance floors of the underground scene, he has been absorbing the unique sounds of this city for nearly a decade. Starting in 2018, he was running his Lessons parties in hidden warehouse locations around Brooklyn, and has amassed a unique following of people looking to experience something deeper.

A true digger at heart with an extensive vinyl collection, Zach G has recieved bookings in legendary clubs and parties in NYC including Cielo, Resolute, Aftermoth, Bitrate, TBA Brooklyn and Sizzmari. As an Unmute resident, Zack has expanded his global reach playing for renowned organiser such as Toi Toi London, Automatic Writing Paris, Sunwaves, Gradina Monteory Bucharest and Warm Nicht? Frankfurt to name a few..

Here comes our next podcast edition. Timoti (Myles & Elliott), two brothers born in London, are now well established in the scene over there, having played at parties like HOME alongside Praslesh, Half Baked alongside Rhadoo, some appearances at RM1 in fabric and most recently Varka Records (in Tunisia), as well XTD with Praslesh and BeeYou records (in London). Their style would be a bit difficult to define but it goes from early 90's releases, blending a mixture of minimal house, electro and old school deep house. The mix was recorded during the summer. Thanks again!

Born in Morocco, based in Barcelona Monile has become a bit of a fixture in her adopted scene. A regular at new high end audio club Les Enfants Brillants, she has starred alongside many of the visiting dignitaries as well as their huge NYE event. She has also turned out for Yoyaku at their huge label showcase at La Machin Du Moulin Rouge only last week.

Monile is also a community player and having also appeared on digital premiere playlists with her addition to Maai Records recent VA her mix of pitch black synth work, moody pads and percussive drums worked a treat. She also contributed to the first release from home boys chez.choc. It is however, her mixing skills that we are most interested as she makes her mix debut for our InSession series. This 75 minute ride will perfectly encapsulate the all in ethos at the heart of Monile. House, electro, techno, minimal and acid all have parts to play here.

With several years of record releases under his belt, Gus Bonani finds himself living
an unbeatable moment in his career. Going through different aspects of the house and minimal sound, his works have seen the light of day on respected labels such as Body Parts, Musica Lunar, Zingiber, Feeder Sound and Blind Vision.
 
In turn, he is co-founder of Tangible Records label that,
in just over 11 editions, it has positioned itself as one of the most interesting projects to emerge in his country lately.
 
Residing in his native Buenos Aires (Argentina), he complements his work as a producer with DJ. His sessions stand out for the creation of moments and atmospheres, always locating in the context that the dancefloor requires.
 
His latest releases and remixes were featured on the homepage of the genre Minimal / Deep Tech at Beatport and ranked in the Top 100 of several genre releases.
