Jezzy P is one of the most important figures in female rap throughout Latin America. She is recognized as one of the pioneers of this musical genre in Mexico, having formed part of the country’s first generation of rappers in the 1990’s.  Currently one of the most relevant artists in independent hip hop, she has worked non-stop in the music scene for the past 20 years; bringing her talent and unique style to stages throughout the continent.
 
Jezzy is one of the principal driving forces of communal and independent work amongst her peers, leading the multidisciplinary collective Mujeres Trabajando since the year 2009; an organization focusing on the principal representative elements of hip hop culture in the country: rap, graffiti, breakdance and beat making. Mujeres Trabajando is recognized for its trajectory and impact in the Latin Rap scene, achieving an important international presence which has allowed her to bring their music to other countries.
 
Jezzy has also worked as a voiceover actor, in theater, on radio spots, as a storyteller and produced music for movies and television. She has been invited as a guest judge at various events, has presented workshops and appeared as a speaker on diverse panels, sharing her experience as a woman and artist in today’s music industry. As a cultural ambassador, has dedicated herself to promoting her collective’s work and the hip hop movement in Mexico, opening new outlets for this cultural and artistic expression.

Inicia su carrera como artista de RAP oficialmente en el 2010 como solista, participando en el 5to. Festival de Revolución Hip Hop, en ese mismo año también tiene un dúo con "Liz Bela" (Melodía Urbana) quienes también presentaron su primer material en dicho festival. Siendo el primer crew de RAP de mujeres en Guatemala.

En el 2010 también integra en un crew "Rehenes de La Instrumental" quienes participaron en Festivales importantes en la escena Hip Hop, organizadas por A.H.G Trasciende y otras organizaciones.

En el 2011 "Rehenes de la Instrumental" toma otro rumbo y se desintegra.

En ese mismo año integra el colectivo de mujeres las "Musas" siendo 3 raperas, una DJ Y dos B-girls. Participando en Festivales defendiendo los derechos de la mujer, entre otros. Participando en el 1er. Video Clip de mujeres "Unidas" con la participación de las Musas (Mai, Kunti y Coco) Trevi, Jen Soto y Señorita Dinamita de Costa Rica, Gracias a la Colaboración de A.G.H Trasciende y de CALDH.

En el 2011 también es parte de la organización del Primer Festival de mujeres "La otra Cara del Hip Hop" en dónde se invitaron artistas mujeres (MCs y B-girls) de otros países como Uruguay, argentina, México, en donde fue Maestra de ceremonias junto a la rapera Coco en dicho festival de mujeres.

En 2011 participa en su primer Batalla de "Freestyle" en la "Batalla de Freestyle del Año". En el 2012 también participa nuevamente el en 7mo. Festival de Revolución Hip Hop como Rapera independiente.

En el 2013 Junto a las Musas sacan su primer material como crew titulado "Victoria" también participa en el primer documental de la Historia de Centro América filmado por artistas cineastas de Argentina, dicho material que saldrá a finales del 2014.
