Auf Tour ist Erlend Øye mit seiner isländisch-itatlienischen Band The Rainbows und mit ihnen spielt er zauberhaften Pop von seinem zweiten Soloalbum "Legao". Daraus hat er uns das Stück "Peng Pong" mit Querflöte eingespielt. Molto bene.

composed: August 2024 for Lindabrunn Symposion

The Sound Performance ‚adaptive cycle’ - with electronic and analogue sound sources - consists of different cycles that merge into one another and represent a large overall cycle. There are sound experiments from the Nord Synth and Doepfer Dark Energy, which represent the depth and pulse of sensitivity and resilience. Beats and Rhythms bring in rituality and energetic tension.
The water and metal sound experiments - as opposing materials - heard separately, together and fused.  
Water, as origin, life-giving element, in the cave, womb, moving, flowing.
The metal, hard, rusty, sharp, unpleasant, disturbing.

Here is the stereo mix of a surround sound composition I created for the art exhibition 'Liminal Spaces' at the State Textile and Industry Museum (tim) im Augsburg to accompany the work of Dorothee Aschoff. 

I mixed some of my ambient music pieces and natural ambiences from my field recordings on a quadrophonic Sound System at the exhibition.

The Cover here shows one of the works of Dorothee Aschoff that were shown in the exhibition.

LIMINAL SPACES - SOUND FOR ART EXHIBITION

Es ist das Bindeglied zwischen dem Krautrock der 70er und der Elektronischen Musik der 80er Jahre: das Album "E2E4" von Manuel Göttsching aus dem Jahr 1981. Es fußt auf nur zwei Akkorden und wurde zur Blaupause für Elektronische Musik und ihre Synthie-Sounds sowie Nachfolger.
