Los Angeles-based public radio station KCRW is one of the most respected and progressive radio stations in the world, featuring an eclectic mix of independent music, NPR news, talk and arts programming. 
 

Brendan has been making music up and down the West Coast for a while now. He can be seen playing instrumental psychedelic cumbia jazz with Oleada, doom metal and cumbia fusion band DOOMBIA, and making his own music as Hugo Skavez, or on occasion, under his own name. He also records and produces other artists. 

Past projects include Cilantro, Fake News, Facetia, Tallwomen, Los Mal Hablados, The Cascadians, and The International Housebound Ska Collective.
