Dust is a song about leaving things behind to enforce personal growth. Pondering about your past, you can become blind to your present and the growth in between. This emotional dust has to be blown off the surface. Stop negative self talk and realize, that the things you did in the past have been done by your former self. Accept, that there is wrong about it and that there is no way to change certain decicions. Though having the same goal, the person you are today may solve things differently.
