All my coworkers drivin’ off fast,
Engines fade, taillights in the past.
I’m standin’ in a lot, empty and strange,
In a state I don’t know, feelin’ deranged.

You said, “Don’t worry, I’ll be there on time,”
But I’m scrollin’ through excuses in my mind.
Every ring cuts deeper, yeah,
And I’m still here alone, two hours disappear.

3:30AM and I’m stranded,
Voicemails playin’, feels so cold and abandoned.
I gave you my trust, but you broke that plan,
Now I’m lost in the dark with my life in my hands.
3:30AM and I’m waitin’,
This night ain’t love, it’s just pure frustration.
Empty lot, no friend, no ride,
Just me and my shadow tryin’ to survive.

Then I hear growlin’, echo in the dark,
Wild dog creepin’ with a hunger spark.
My heart jump fast, I break into a run,
Work boots heavy, but I can’t be done.

Adrenaline burnin’, I don’t look back,
I’m dodgin’ shadows, fear on the track.
All I wanted was a ride, some peace,
But now I’m prayin’ this beast don’t feast.

But I’m out here runnin’ for this life of mine.
If I make it home, I swear,
I ain’t trustin’ nobody who leaves me here.
