If God could provide a gift to R&B, it would come in the form of Marvin Leach Jr., better known as FattSosa, a hybrid R&B/Hip Hop artist born and raised in the backroads of Angier, NC. With a catalog that has been seen on BET, REVOLT, and urban radio charts along the east coast, FattSosa is one of the hottest up-and-coming artists coming out of North Carolina currently, with accolades to back up that statement; having won R&B Artist of the Year for North Carolina for 3 years and counting at the Carolina Music Awards.  

Hailing from a small town of just 4,000 people in Angier, NC FattSosa is providing hope to a life outside of the small town.  When he brings these artists through the town, either to shoot music videos or record records, it brings positivity and motivation to the community there.   

Within an industry, that seems to be depleting in originality, FattSosa brings forth the ideal individuality and uniqueness every R&B singer should be equipped with. Mixing his rough edges with his ability to talk to women; using mature and soothing wordplay, the bombshell singer attracts a wide range of fans. Listening closely, you’ll easily hear the influence of artists like Jaheim, the legendary group Jagged Edge, and more in FattSosa’s sound.

From the beginning FattSosa has seen success, his debut single ‘Wanna Know You’ hit the Top 100 singles on urban charts, spinning on 25 top radio stations.  Since then, FattSosa has gone on to collaborate with Jim Jones, Beanie Sigel, 2 Chainz, DJ Luke Nasty, Moneybagg Yo and more.  In Q2 of 2019, FattSosa debuted his much-awaited debut self-titled album, which featured Moneybagg Yo (First Alert single “Dope” on Sirius XM Hip Hop Nation), DJ Luke Nasty, QC’s Kollision, and Block 125.  In the pipeline, FattSosa has records with Gucci Mane, DaBaby, Colonel Loud, Young Scooter, Cam’ron, Jim Jones and more to be released.
