Y.B. , young american rapper, was born on June 23rd, 1992, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the early age of 3, his parents moved to Greensboro, North Carolina, in a small apartment complex known as highland hills on the north-side. He enjoyed writing poetry at the early age of 6 and began rapping when he was only 9. Growing up, Y.B. faced many unexpected challenges from being extremely overweight, typical family issues, health issues, and finding a music lane he felt fit him. Everybody in his city knew he did music but his first official project didn't release until he was a junior in high school called "Everybody Hates Kris" . The project got minor attention due to lack of good production and song concepts. This influenced YB to take a minor break to just find himself. During that break, his life had even more unexpected challenges as he caught a possession charge in 2013 for aederol which was a heavy fine at the time due to the law trying to ban the drug. Fighting this case caused YB to become involved in things he never expected after his lawyer informed him of how severe the charge he was facing was if he didn't beat the case. He became involved in the "street life" and his life hasn't been the same since. These days , YB is trying to step out of the "street life" which motivated him to return back to recording music.. however this time , he knew his lane. He decided to put everything he went through and the things he seen his friends/enemies go through in music for the world to hear.
