Who are at this place you come into being. 
But for you this scream is the beginning 
Of a terrifying trip called life. 

Why terrifying, the voice deep in me asks. 
"Life is a gift. 
Savor it in all its colors" aspects, she whispers. 
She’s so close, so warm, so alive. 
I want to believe her, but I can’t.

What you have does not last forever, 
What you love will be taken. 
You are born breakable, 
You will die broken. 

She talks about the balance. 
The fortune precedes the sorrow 
And follows it at the same time. 
Grow up, find love, have children. 
Feel the sun, listen to the rain, dance with the wind.

This cry follows you. 
You are screaming while coming into this world
You are screaming while leaving it. 
It is always with you.

So she asks me to change and to come to her side
My eyes wide open 
I let myself fall into her open arms. 
My inner voice starts cheering, 
And I smile because I was right. 
The only constant is the cry.
