Jules Berne is an MC and songwriter who lives and works on Dja Dja Wurrung country in Castlemaine. 

He is best known for his work as one half of hip hop act Renovators Dream (whose self-title debut was RRR album of the week) and for collaborations with Brisbane producers Danny Rhodes, Saint Surly and “V”. 

On debut EP Escapades, Jules Berne combines forces with two brilliant producers: Harley Stewart of Fight Night Records and Danny Rhodes (of Packer & Rhodes). 

Jules Berne's vivid lyricism, musicianship and imagination have seen him collaborate with bands of many genres, including Castlemaine Funk-Rock band Dendra, reggae outfit De Jah Groove and many more. 

His EP track 'Walk the Clouds' was a Grand Finalist in the Darebin Music Feast and got some great airplay and reviews including from Veronica Milson (triple j) who described his music as 'super easy on the ears' and recognised Jules' 'great flow.'

Lately he's been sharpening his singing skills, including appearing at the magnificent Castlemaine Idyll. Nowadays he is mostly seen with a nylon string guitar singing all kinds of songs, covers, originals and improvisations, with his beloved 4 year old daughter.
