Hailing from Manchester in the UK, acoustic-electronica trio GoGo Penguin are pianist Chris Illingworth, bassist Nick Blacka and drummer Rob Turner. Drawing on a heady brew of influences from Brian Eno, John Cage, Massive Attack and Aphex Twin to Manchester’s grey rain-streaked urban streets, they create a brave new sound that is wholly their own.

Defined by skittering break-beats, powerful sub-bass, telepathic interplay and a penchant for anthemic melody they create an emotionally rich palate for the listener that has seen them hailed as the most exciting new band to emerge from the UK in years.

Hola mi gente!!! My name is Skruper Sounds a.k.a. Rene Gamez , Im a mexican producer, remixer, live act freak and also a dj. Since 2005 Im working hard to develop and contribute to a bass music scene in my city, Guadalajara. My first solo project was a party called “FIESTAS CLANDESTINAS” where the main intention was to unite the different types of tribes or social groups in my town under the common denominator of the bass music celebrating life, since we have started, many of my colleagues in my city haved joined and made it posible. At the same time, a couple of colleagues developed a collective called “GDL BASSCREW”, which I've joined in 2009, this group was the first group in western mexico which brought some of the most outstanding exponents of the region and promotion of overwhelmingly broad bass music scene. I'm currently based in Cologne, Germany and I'm trying to grow the local and national tropical bass escene with some producers from all around the world. (((((((((PURA SABROSURA Y BASILON))))))))))
