I’d like to reiterate a reiteration. That is, this manifesto, that music, art, is outside of time. Yihweh always had and has all the forms of music to be released, deluged, upon this world. They arrive in the eras they do. They then are always there, at our disposal, in any configuration, mesh of styles, or not. And a good production sound, the right production sound will always be a right production sound, according to what is good, done without egotism.

In the mid ‘60s - mid ‘70s era there was an explosion in music and sound, many styles came about, in the artistic universe. After that, from the late ‘70s, came rap music, coming into its own with my generation. But is it not that good rap music could have been from the mid ‘70s? Reality is yes, it could have been then, just came along later. 

The latest is not the greatest. It’s whatever is right, whatever you’re feeling. As an artist, in terms of musical style, all the colours are on you palette, at you fingertips. What is for you?

It’s also not about wealth, there can be no art with that on the mind. It’s about having something to give, and the irresistable, shekines, happenin’ journey that takes you there. It is about having an interesting, colourful, happenin’, tumble-down sidewalk, deep country life. It is about making the world more interesting. It is from Yihweh.

And now I ask you Mr. Dylan to reiterate a reiteration, whatever that will be.
But before I do (just did), here’s another reiteration from myself, it’s not something I wrote, but I have said it before, say it again,

‘For them that must obey authority
That they do not respect in any degree
Who despise their jobs, their destiny
Speak jealously of them that are free
Do what they do just to be
Nothing more than something they invest in.’

‘While them that defend what they cannot see
With a killer’s pride, security
It blows the minds most bitterly

And.... are you too wealthy to enjoy a crazy helter-skelter ride, in a never mind, infinity park, boots n' loose, in the top hat?
If so do you think you might be mummified, in delusion?
Do you think you might be that wet sponge upon the shelf?
And.... isn't servility really your thing?

No cute mouse suit, or manicured astroturf hair in outer-display, ordely presentation, indeed precision, will save this one, no?
And is that not, is it not that conformity is vanity?
And fear?

Truth is, that if you're on the artistic side, you're on the side that wins this spiritual war, that is Yihweh's side. When the war is won, and it's not too far off, the repercussions last for all eternity...

I slowed Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds down a half step to its natural speed as recorded, likewise I sped he’s Leaving Home up a half step, to the same result. 
I edited Within You/Without You in three places, to remove some lyrics which were untrue/naive, here they are,

First verse,

We were talking,
About the space between us all,
And the people who hide themselves,
Behind a wall, 
Of illusion,
Never glimpse the truth,
Then it's far too late,
When they pass away

We were talking,
About the love we all could share,
When we find it,
To try our best to hold it there,

I edited out, we could save the world.

I took out the first chorus,

Try to realise it's all within yourself,
No one else can make you change,

and also the second (last) chorus,

When you've seen beyond yourself then you may find,
Peace of mind is waiting there,
And the time will come when you see we're all one,
And life flows on within you and without you

For the remist I retitled the track from Within You Without You to Within You/Without You.

I decided to include You Know My Name (Look up the number) as the last track. This was recorded over three sessions (in May and June ’67), the first commencing a month after the last recording session for Sgt. Pepper’s. The outro features Brian Jones on alto saxophone.

For the remist I retitled the piece, Rolling Thunder.

The Rolling Thunder Revue comprised two tours of the United States by Dylan with an assorted group of muscians/artists. The first - the American northeast and Canada, in the autumn of 1975.
The second - the American south and southwest, spring 1976.

The band played to halls, theatres, auditoriums, arenas etc.

Dylan came up with the name rolling thunder for the tour after having heard the continuous sound of thunder on a particular day.

Dylan was an album released in 1973 comprised of outtakes, mostly from 1970, that had been recorded re other albums. It was released by Columbia with no input from Dylan other than the music. It features nine tracks, which have a production sound of their own. The cover design features a colourised photo of Dylan from 1970, printed onto (what seems to be) alfoil. 
Dylan 1973, as it’s also referred to wasn’t released for decades, until 2013 when it was released for the first time onto compact disc as included in Bob Dylan: The Complete Album Collection Vol. One (it was released online at the same time).

Another Self Portrait was released in 2013 and consists of unreleased recordings, demos and outtakes from the Self Portrait and New Morning albums (1970), with a few other tracks close to that time. The story behind its release is that Steve Berkowitz, one of the mixers on the album, discovered the boxes of tapes in one of Sony Music’s vaults, the material had not been listened to for decades.
Tracks 4 - 6, 8, 10 are from these boxes.

This version of Wallflower was recorded in 1971 and released on the Bootleg Series, Vols 1 - 3 (1991).

Lo and Behold! (Take 1) and Minstrel Boy were recorded in Woodstock, in 1967, and were part of Dylan’s series of recordings with The Band known as The Basement Tapes. These two tracks were released on The Bootleg Series Vol. 11: The Basement Tapes Complete (2014).

For the remist I retitled tracks,

I edited out some lyrics from The Ballad of Ira Hayes, the last two verses (and one chorus), 

And Ira started drinking hard, jail was often his home,
They let him raise the flag there and lower it like you'd throw a dog a bone,
He died drunk early one morning, alone in a land he’d fought to save,
Two inches of water in a lonely ditch was the grave for Ira Hayes

Yes, call him drunken Ira Hayes, but his land is still as dry,
And his ghost is lying thirsty in the ditch where Ira died

-I did this because it's never possible to fight physically (as in violence, murder) for freedom, this is in regards to the line 'alone in a land he’d fought to save.'

A selection of tracks from the Sex Pistols concert at HM prison, Chelmsford, Essex, UK, 17/9/76, from Live 76, a collection of four Pistols concerts from that year. 

Glen Matlock played bass on this, at first I boosted the bass frequencies searching…. was barely able to hear anything.
Glen can be heard though, in the opening bars of Don’t Give Me No Lip, Child (one can hear the lack of bass frequency).
So I played synth bass to all tracks, feeling that it could do with it.
Also edited some of the dialogue.

Remist liner note,

'Julian Weir played bass on the album in 2022, so is it really from ’76, can you really call it that, a ’76 piece?
Well…. he was live in ’76, having been born some two months earlier etc….

A lot of music comes from the year 1976, and from the '60s/70s era, did it come from 1976…. or… from somewhere else?'

Remist cover features photo of Tindal St Chelmsford (1970).
It depicts the demolished remains of the historical street, to make way for the Boots store, it’s now High Chelmer Shopping Centre, the actual street was replaced with a windowless brick edifice and a service yard.

With the remist inside cover, at first I set out to create a collage of Pistols photos, mainly from 1976. Dumping them onto the design page, I liked the way they fell, decided to keep it that way.
