Over 10 years we host our famous podcast series. Which started as an small idea of some Afterhour nerds developed over the years to something special for us ♥️

In the beginning, we focused on finding and supporting (un)known artists through blog posts, reposts and podcast contributions. Gradually, we expanded our sections to include live recordings and premieres. In-house releases and events were not long in coming.

Munich's Club Harry Klein has gained international attention with its innovative booking policy, a strongly themed program, and a lighting concept based strictly on live visuals. Since 15 years the club is constantly elected into the top ten of the german clubs by the readers of most important german magazines for electronic dancemusic like Groove, DeBug and Raveline.

Eigentlich ein 60er – dennoch war es den Münchnern erst im Februar 1970 vergönnt, ein ganz besonderes Highlight willkommen zu heißen.
In Giesing gereift – gleich beim Stadion ums Eck – infizierte er sich schon früh mit allen Facetten der Musik. Nicht schwer, mit einem Profimusiker als Vater. Verzwickt war’s eher, eben diesem die Sache mit der elektronischen Musik zu erklären. War dies doch eine Rebellion gegenüber Jazz und Soul Musik, die er vom Elternhaus her kannte.
Anne Clark, Visage, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode (um nur einige zu nennen) …
Anno 1983 entdeckte Pat, der B-Seiten Liebhaber, elektronische Sounds und den dicken und satt einrastenden Drehknopf vorne links am Plattenspieler. Das väterliche Tonbandgerät wurde hier auch schon mal gefüttert … mit Bandsalat.
Seine Anfänge fand Pat auf Parties in Jungendtreffs. Seinerzeit mit Black Music … bis 1985 parallel zu Detroit Techno das minimalistische Acid-House gefeiert wurde. Der pumpende Beat schwappte auch in Pat’s Plattenkoffer und damit quietschgelbe Smilies mit satten 135 BPM auf die 1210er. Gigs in damaligen Münchner Discos, wie Cadillac, LA und L25 folgten. Später legte er auch Techno Clubs auf und wurde Resident im Kitty Cat Club.
So lernte er sein Handwerk - die Kunst des Mixens - und perfektioniert es bis heute.
Heute setzt er neben Vinyl auch digitale Tracks und Samples ein. 3 bis 4 Decks? Kein Problem.
Sein Stil passt in keine Schublade. Tanzt zu Techno, Minimal, Tech-House und Deep-House. Wundert Euch nicht, wenn afrikanische Klänge oder mal was gruftiges eingeschoben wird. Er macht auch vor Klassik nicht halt. Erlebt Dub-Step, Breakbeats und Drum n‘ Bass mit elektronischem Migrationshintergrund. Jede kleine Nuance ist ausgeklügelt und grenzüberschreitend zusammengestellt.
Er weiß wie man die Tanzfläche umkrempelt. Ganz ohne Kommerz. Pat hat kein Problem dunkle, mentale Spuren zu mischen. Er weiß, wie man den Verbindungspunkt findet zwischen der angesehensten Old School Scheiben und neuen digitalen Produktionen. Unfehlbar.
Als echter Musiker, Freigeist und Kreativer weiß Pat sehr genau was guter Sound bedeutet.
Seine eigenen Produktionen kreiert Pat im loungigen House und perfektioniert seinen ganz eigenen Style.
