Raised in New Orleans Jake Basquiat is a Music Producer and Performer known for his unique blend of Hip Hop drums and electronic ethereal synths. His quick rise to notoriety in New Orleans began with the creation of a recording studio and artist residency (Materialinstitute.org) funded by The Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) from Tasmania Australia. There he produced countless albums for local artists, and his music has been featured on the BBC Radio 4 Documentary “Art of Now” “A New School for New Orleans” Hosted by Clara Amfo. Natasha Michael is a New York City singer-songwriter from Wilmington, Delaware, who experiments with sounds to create preliminary R&B/Soul, Pop, and Hip Hop music. Her style roots back to her fathers Dance/Funk music selection, identifying with artists such as Teena Marie, Marvin Gaye, & Earth Wind and Fire. She developed her voice by practicing several genres of music at Cab Calloway School of the Arts, including jazz, classical, broadway, foreign language, and more. In 2007, she became the lead vocalist to a live Hip-Hop/Jazz band called Slick Mantra, performing gigs mostly in Philadelphia. Natasha wrote her first song when she was 11 years old, but didn’t open up about her songwriting abilities until college where she attended Pace University and studies Arts, Entertainment and Media Management. She began her quest by writing hooks for rap songs. This led to one of her proudest collaborations with Platinum winning producer SAP, where she featured on his first mixtape. Most recently, Natasha released a few single and a music video to a song called "Fuego". She has been doing performances with concert company, Weird ’N Awful and other performances throughout New York and Delaware. In February 2018 she released a 3-track love EP called "Retrolove". Her latest single "TOO BUSY" was released January 20, 2020.
