Meine "neue" Technologie ist quasi wieder die alte Technologie, so wie ich angefangen habe aufzulegen vor 13 Jahren. Und zwar mit dem schwarzem Gold - Vinyl. <3 Vieles an Musik die ich gerade feiere kommt zum großen Teil wieder auf Platte raus. Das gefällt mir und deswegen nutze ich es wieder. Ich liebs.


🗯🗯 Hat sich deine Art und Weise und vielleicht auch dein Stil Musik zu machen geändert? 🗯🗯

Die Frage passt zu dem Set ganz gut. Denn wie man im Titel lesen kann, soll dieses Set eine Hommage an iO (Mulen) sein. Der Ukrainer hat es wirklich geschafft mich mit seinem Groove so sehr zu vereinnahmen, dass ich begonnen habe unter meinem neuen alias "CVO" immer mehr in die Minimal und Deep House Richtung auszuschlagen. Er beeinflusst sogar den Sound unseres neu gegründeten Labels "Bladehouse". Ich habe für diesen Podcast viele meiner Mulen-Platten zusammengesucht und einen 1,5h Mix draus gemixt. Der Mix stellt quasi meinen Übergang von "Casimir von Oettingen" zu "CVO" dar. Ich hoffe er gefällt euch. Für die einen mag er vlt. etwas eintönig klingen. Für mich öffnen sich jedoch Welten drin. Also ganz viel Spaß damit!

Pour sa première TGIT en tant qu’host, NairLess invite mpeg, un talentueux producteur allemand ayant notamment sorti des releases sur des labels comme Haws et Slump Recordings.
Dans un premier temps, NairLess commence avec 1h de set solaire mélangeant balearic house, early trance et progressive house.
S’en suit mpeg, avec une deuxième heure de house & tech house fraîchement diggée mêlant groove old school 90s / début 2000s et touche moderne.

Hailing from Hannover, Luise is a standout DJ and electronic music producer deeply influenced by House and Deep Music. From an early age, her exposure to the genre forged a strong connection, which was later recognized by the Paris-based label Skylax Records. fjeden theme:cast is a monthly mixtape series. In each episode, we ask one person to create a mixtape on their selected topic. No genre restrictions. An artwork accompanying the mix and theme is created as well

With uncertainty often comes a feeling of uneasiness and discomfort. When we are unable to place something within a binary system, it lets it remain mysterious and incomprehensable in a way. As beings with the apparent need for systemification, this characteristic imposes significant challenges on ourselves. To be able to accept the ambivalence of the world and the uncertainty that comes with it helps to create an inner sanctuary and to find peace. 
I tried to approach this uncertainty through using music and genres I have never DJed with before and through not preparing a fixed tracklist. I tried to embrace all the small imperfections that come with that approach. To delve deeper into the topic I worked together with Camilla Carlsen (Instagram: @camillaxcarla), who drew the artwork for this set live while I recorded the set.
