Du bist ein Sandkorn in der unendlichen Weite der Wüste.

Der Wind verweht Dich kleines Sandkorn. Du bist nichts, die Wüste ist alles.
Sie verschlingt Dich. Du bist kleiner als ein Insekt. Wanderst von Düne zu Düne.

Höre das zarte flüstern der Düne. Lausche achtsam dem heißen Wüstenwind „Calima“ was er Dir zu erzählen hat.

Hear the soft whisper of the dunes. Listen carefully to what the hot desert wind “Calima” has to tell you.

Dune Whisper

This piece is a Rondo following fairly closely a classical ABACACABA form, but it is far from traditional rondos in its harmonic and rhythmic character using augmented triads in a very percussive style. 
The two interspersed episodes (B and C in the pattern I referred to above) are more melodic although still quite dissonant These passages are repeated exactly when they recur but the A section which is easily recognisable by its reliance on the strings is subject to development throughout.
I have made use of Emastering online mastering service for the current version.

Adagio for Our Times (Remix VIII 3 December 2023)

This is a variation of a sort on a musical fragment which appears in the theme music for the TV series 'All Creatures great and Small' and also in the first movement of my Tripartite Fantasy and is constructed as a free flowing set of improvisations on a simple basic idea This simple idea is treated in a linear polyphonic way resulting in a texture which moves between consonant and dissonant harmony ending on a C major chord.
This is an updated revision of the original track using different samples.

Dr M Sort Of A TV Theme (Revised 5 December 2023)

Modelled on a movement of the Danish composer Carl Neilsen's  4th Symphony this short piece unfolds in a series of terse dramatic interludes.
