Okay so i started a little early on my pride track for this year. It was supposed to be uplifting and happy, but Alabama just passed a law very similar, and yet worse, than Florida's idiotic don't say gay bill. So i finished this up, and it's a little acerbic. It's pride weekend here in Mobile this anyway so I guess it's as a good a time as any!

The Word Is Love (Pride 2022)

This is the first track I've created after wrapping up my new album “aes.thet.ics”. There is always uncertainty as to what I want to work on after releasing a collection of material. (or if I need a break)It's a combination of relief/fulfillment, mixed with self imposed pressure as to needing to come up with ideas for future work.

Going back to minimal piano remains a comforting direction. For me it's always a rewarding emotional release.

With it I want to reflect what I feel when in early spring the cherry trees of my valley burst into millions of flowers.
