"Picture This" / "Attention Now" was Julian Garnett's very first release under his moniker 'Julian G', which came out on Machine Mind Records (Norwich) on 23rd November 2015

"Whilst this is Julian's first release, he is an old hand when it comes to the house music scene. Julian first caught the acid house bug in '88 at the tender age of 14 through listening to London pirates like Sunrise and then Centreforce in 1989. He then went on to get involved in the emerging club scene of the capital, playing alongside names such as Kid Batchelor, Derrick May, Dave Piccioni and MC E-mix (Derrick May has yet to return his headphones). Julian then went on to get his own shows on stations such as * FLEX FM *, Don FM (legal license one-off), Re-Load, Juice FM, Taste FM and in 1996 he set up his own pirate radio station, Pure FM 104.9 (with Nut Nut & Wonky) ...

Fast forward to 2015 and the story continues with these two fine slices of techno soul music. A new chapter begins"

'K-Town', a new "bonus" track, which has previously been played by Ross Allen on his "Soup To Nuts" show on NTS Radio. The outro has a sample from Ross' interview with Harry Dennis at the NTS studio in Gillett Square, Dalston, London, which I recorded live in the studio at the time.
