I believe that music should be like an experience, i enjoy dabbling into all genres and experimenting with varies of sounds creating a story in your head.

I'm a flute player, an improviser/composer and I'm mostly making and performing my music in the jazz and experimental music realms throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe.  My most active groups are Black Earth Ensemble and Black Earth SWAY.  I also do some composing for new music (classical) settings and make soundtracks.  And I really enjoy playing with my friends including Moor Mother, Tiger Trio, Indigo Trio, Rob Mazurek's Exploding Star Orchestra, David Boykin Expanse, Michael Dessen, Mark Dresser and others.

We Roll Like Madmen is the dance music project of artists Chris Tollack and Jordan Young. Described as "American SBTRKT" and "ugly Disclosure,” the duo wields an infectious blend of sounds with a raw stage energy that makes them equally at home in the club, on the festival stage, or at the dive bar.

Featured appearances include Charleston Fashion Week, Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Summit, Indie Grits Film Festival, and sharing bills with national acts such as Baths and The Limousines. Following two EPs and two national tours, their full length album “AF” carries the most distilled iteration of the duo’s relentless sound.
