Coterie of Cretins is a broadcast from the fault line where humanity and technology intersect — not in harmony, but in discomfort, suspicion, and reluctant dependence. These songs live inside the fluorescent hum of a world where every device pretends to listen, every choice feels rehearsed, and every person is half algorithm whether they admit it or not.

Across twelve tracks, the album follows the last free thinkers, doubters, Luddites-for-likes, and digital ghosts as they move between locked doors, broken signals, and too-perfect faces. Some fight back. Some give in. Some just scroll until the scrolling stops.

The sound is heavy, resonant, metallic, industrial at its core but driven by human lungs and human fear. Guitars grind against synths. Drums slam against circuitry. Voices remain the last unprocessed instrument — desperate, stubborn, hopeful, furious.

This is not an album about technology.
It’s an album about living through it.

Coterie of Cretins asks one question repeatedly:

If this is the future, is there anywhere left to stand that’s still ours?

Sora ends This Is a Comedy? with her most unhinged performance yet — a cinematic heartbreak meltdown filmed on the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast.

“la dolce vita (roll the credits)” is a technicolor breakup scene wrapped in couture: mascara running down a designer face, diamonds choking a lonely neck, and a vintage Alfa Romeo idling behind her like the world’s prettiest getaway car.

The track swings between glossy Europop glamour and raw, slurred confessional belts — the sound of a woman laughing, crying, drinking, and acting her way through the worst heartbreak of her life.

She’s drowning in spritzes, swearing at film crews, arguing with the director, and insisting the lighting is all wrong… all while delivering the most vulnerable moment of the entire EP.

It’s Fellini tragedy meets A24 melodrama:
a gorgeous disaster, a perfect breakdown, a final punchline that lands a little too hard.

Roll the credits —
turns out the saddest bitch on the Riviera was the star of the film the whole time.

Awaken - UK Garage Selection

It's a spiritual, bass-and-drum-driven journey into the aftermath of childhood trauma. Using the powerful metaphor of a frantic black horse—representing both the ingrained flight response and the yearning for autonomy—the song traces the struggle of an adult self trying to calm the internal storms of the past. It's a sonic exploration of moving from fear to integration, from being chased by panic to learning to ride your own strength. This piece is for anyone who has ever felt a ghost running in their veins, and is learning to whisper, "We are safe now."
