Playing across the spectrum of House, Disco and Electronica Grant Holmes is resident DJ and co-promoter at Edit. Who have been the stalwarts of the North West’s Nu Disco and Edit scene for over the past decade.
When not on Edit duties Grant has played at numerous festivals, events, club nights and iconic venues such as Alfresco Festival, Beat Herder, Disco in the Park, Retro in the Park, Drop the Beat Festival, La Discotheque, Manchester’s Albert Hall, Gorilla, The Refuge, Demented Disco, The Pen & Pencil, Glitter Babe, UK club classics brand Retro and Angels Reunion, Rejuvenation, That Needs an Edit and the list goes on. Regular radio guest mixes play a big feature in Grant’s music schedule with appearances for likes of Spin City, Midnight Riot Radio, Black Light Disco and Disco Daze. 
Hailing originally from Blackburn, Grant’s early teenage years luckily coincided with the boom of the illegal Blackburn Warehouse Parties and Acid House music explosion, and this is where his love of house music was forged. Grant spent a lot of his well-spent youth living the dream at the seminal Angels nightclub in Burnley, this is where he progressed from raver to house music obsessive train spotter. DJ’ing in clubs at night and working in record shops during the day soon followed.
During the 90’s Grant was best known for his long term residency at ‘Federation’ Blackpool (a legendary House night) playing alongside the A-lister guest DJ’s who played there on a weekly basis. He was also a regular face on the Midlands club scene playing at Birmingham’s biggest nights such as 'Crunch' at the Venue and 'S.L.A.G' at the Steering Wheel. Guest spot highlights from back in the day include Bar Rhumba (London), Phillips Park Hall, Dry Bar, Life @ Bowlers, Juice, Club Fusion, Blue Note, Club Xpo, The Mill, Park Hall and North Bar to name but a few.

House DJ who's been influenced over the years by Djs such as Sasha & Micky Finn. Plays on both vinyl and digital.
Loves all genres of dance music especially Progressive House, BreakBeat and Old Skool because that's where it all started for me, going to clubs such as Venus, The Eclipse, Shelleys, Renaissance and Progress to name but a few. Over  the years I've played alongside Graeme Park, Paul Oakenfold, Shades of Rhythm, Alex P & Altern8.

I'll keep it brief! Since getting my first set of decks in 1995 I have had the DJ Bug... Fast forward through the years and some experiences I find myself a Resident DJ for Edit Presents in Manchester and loving all things Disco and Edits!
