Suite à une première sortie sur There Is Love In You, son nouvel EP témoigne de l’énergie solaire qui lui est propre et présente son univers qui convoque des sonorités old school en leur apportant le twist de la modernité. Entre influences acid, trance prog, synth wave, electro, et beaucoup d’autres encore, les 5 tracks de cet EP distillent une musique aussi riche que généreuse.
Rare sont les artistes qui arrivent à faire passer un message à travers leur musique, et Desire est l’un.e d’entre elleux. Il y a en effet quelque chose qui tient presque de l’empowerment dans cette énergie touchante et puissante qui se dégage de l’EP.
Chaque morceau nous emmène dans une balade extatique qui mélange envolées mélancoliques, beats taillés pour le dancefloor et lignes acides stroboscopiques.

Dancefloor is queer' is an ep by a queer for queer dancefloors. Through the melancholy, euphoria, tension of progressive house, and the letting go of trance, I wanted to create a project that would convey what I feel with music when my queer body moves.

Being in my head, letting myself undulate to the rhythms, feeling the light of a club piercing me in the morning, the outside air as I leave the club, and seeing other queer bodies who are also escaping the outside world, that's what the club is for me.

This ep is an ode to my first queer nights out

Roza adds a percussive touch, tailor-made to let off steam in the way lesbians know so well, and then, well, let's be honest. What an honour to have an artist like her on remix!

Looking back to Plexi Glass debut EP “Echoes From Space”, released in 2023 on Ulla Records, we thought those tracks all had a potential to be remixed. So we asked 5 talented producers that we adore to revisit them, and share with us their very own artistic vision ! 

First we have Gewaltem, who took some subtle deviation to create his own darker, cold wave-ish remix of “Magma Punch”. Then Anastasia Zems propose us to discover a more proggy side of “Hypnotic Marble”, laying some vocals of her own in the mix. Desire is next, and she delivers an explosive and uplifting club-ready remix of “Dust On The Road”. We also wanted to give a twist of our own to the release, so Austher took “Core Of The Meteor” to a more italo-trance field. Finally, we have Blutch closing the dance with a dreamy, melancholic and really personal reinterpretation of “Sky Sytem”, wandering somewhere between progressive trance and acid.
