An electronic musician and guitarist who especially likes the more nostalgic sounds of the 80s. Composing and producing is my favourite hobby. Thank you to everyone who listens to my music.

I learned my first guitar chords as a teenager in the 90s, that's when I also composed my first songs. Since then, songwriting has been my passion.  In the 90s, my friends and I also founded a band that worked for about 10 years. After the band ended, I wrote songs in a desk drawer and dreamed of a home studio. I also learned to play a little piano. Since 2016, I've been slowly learning to produce music in a DAW environment, first with Garegeband and later with Logic Pro X. In the last couple of years, I've learned more about composing and arranging than in the previous several years, but it feels like the journey is just beginning. Thanks to everyone who has read this far.

I don't use AI to compose or produce my music.

Hi, I'm Shaun from North East UK. VARISONIK isn't a band but a solo project that began in early 2022. Back then I had a strong desire to create my own style of alt-rock and alt-pop songs, and found the freedom of going alone is a bonus for creating new songs, as I get to write, compose, play instruments, and produce all of my music and promo videos, which is a lot of work at times but I love doing it. Rust Cutler has no money, so he only experiments with low-cost synthesizers and no Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). He'd rather have hardware that makes interesting sounds than a decent computer. He never thought he'd have to point out that no artificial intelligence is used in his compositions, but apparently we are now in that world. Rust Cutler strongly believes limitations spark creativity and enjoys creating a melody where perhaps none should exist.  All tracks are single musician, single take recordings with no editing and no processing except onboard effects. Everything you hear is how it sounded at the moment it occurred, then posted under the name, Dancing With Tea. Rust Cutler hopes you enjoy these experiments.
