Anne Gelfei and David Elie Merlino, partners both on stage and in life, share a chemistry that fuels their bold and distinct style. Known for their rebellious spirit and fearless creativity, they’ve pushed the boundaries of electronic music, leaving a lasting mark on the global techno community. Their raw talent, DIY attitude, and relentless passion continue to inspire the next wave of artists. Together, they create music with heart, soul, and high intensity.

Behind Nimba is probably one of the world's original artists, Ariane MacAvoy.
Ariane's background and musical education goes back when Ariane was growing up in Paris. She was surrounded by the creativity of her family: her grandfather was the well-known French painter MacAvoy, her mother, an actress in France, and has appeared in both films and stage. Ariane found her true passion in West African dance and drumming. She has been playing Djembe and African instruments, and studying, as well as teaching, West African Dance since the age of 15. Her journey into Psychedelic electronica began in 1985 in Goa, where she met Goa Gil. Together they started The Nommos project, and continue to work on their mutual concept of 'redefining the ancient tribal ritual for the 21st century'.

Ariane's love and interest for West African dance and drumming already had mature roots, and this is how Nimba materialized. Under her Nimba project are 2 brilliant albums, and her music appears on various releases, as well as tracks on Avatar's Riddle trilogy.
2005 saw her debut album Elements. A multidimensional masterpiece embedded with organic nature sounds, rich in percussion and 3D African ambience. It is amazing how you can hear, and almost "see" the fire on Feed The Fire - one of the climaxes of the album. 
Motherland, her 2nd album, is by all means a timeless creation, an exciting virtual journey to the heart of Africa. The album includes live authentic recordings and live tribal instruments, with electronic sounds and sonic manipulations. It is the fruitful result of her visit to West Africa and the hill tribes of Mali, where she was respectfully accepted, and had spent time close to the local people and participated in ancient tribal dance and rituals. 
These important albums are considered an asset in the genre of Afro-world beat. Both were licensed by EMI Music, and grabbed attention also in countries like India, where Ariane has spent some years. Nimba does not perform often, and when she does, it is an opportunity not to be missed!

DJ Mau Mau - Biografia

DJ Mau Mau é, incontestavelmente, um dos maiores artistas do cenário house/techno do Brasil. Com uma carreira que já acumula mais de três décadas, Mauricio Bischain exerceu um papel fundamental na construção da cena nacional, sendo residente de clubs históricos como Sra. Krawitz, Hell’s Club e Lov.e Club, locais responsáveis por uma grande revolução no contexto cultural da música eletrônica.

Em sua extensa trajetória foram muitos projetos criados e parcerias construídas, atuando ao lado de nomes icônicos da música pop brasileira como Roberto Carlos, Rita Lee, Adriana Calcanhotto, Marina Lima e Daniela Mercury - provando assim que a dance music pode e deve romper barreiras. Seu trabalho de estúdio também merece reconhecimento, uma vez que Mau já teve suas músicas tocadas por artistas do calibre de Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox, Derrick May, Stacey Pullen e outros influentes.

Mau criou dois selos ao longo da carreira, o Tropic Records, que mistura eletrônica com elementos da música regional brasileira – e o M. Music. Na bagagem, acumula mais de 60 músicas de sua autoria lançadas em importantes selos nacionais e internacionais. Atuando sempre de forma consistente, DJ Mau Mau consegue inserir facilmente suas referências vanguardistas na cena contemporânea atual, mixando house e techno de forma brilhante. Esse talento permitiu que ele carimbasse passaporte para diversos países, se apresentando nas maiores pistas do Brasil e do mundo, como Tomorrowland, Paris Techno Parade, EDC, Kaballah, Tribaltech, Rock in Rio (no Rio de Janeiro e em Lisboa), D-EDGE e muitas outras.

Em sua longa jornada musical, Mauricio já ganhou 27 prêmios de revistas e jornais especializados nas categorias de DJ do ano, produtor e personalidade. Em 2013, durante o Rio Music Conference (atual BRMC), Mau Mau conquistou um dos mais cobiçados pelos profissionais da cena nacional, o de “Melhor DJ do Brasil”. Atualmente é residente do Club Jerome, do Superafter que acontece no D.EDGE e também de outras duas festas: Gang e Houseira. Em paralelo, ele mantém alguns projetos como o 2Attack com a DJ Paula Chalup, e o aclamado B3B com os DJs e parceiros de longa data, Renato Cohen e Anderson Noise. Idolatrado e respeitado mundialmente, DJ Mau Mau segue consistente com o olhar sempre nas conquistas do futuro.
